I bought the Region 1 boxset of these films a couple of years ago and I think it's the second movie that has a hidden audio track where the cast is dubbed in 'redneck' accents...hilarious! Very Happy

I'm sure I was watching the Japanese dub. The scenes take place around the 51:00 to 53:00 mark. It's the same on both versions so I can only put it down to poor editing/continuity.

I'm glad that they'll be doing individual releases as well as a box set. I'd rather pick and choose what I want, especially seeing that I have some of the films and don't wish to double-dip.

According to the EZYDVD website, this appears to have bumped until early next year.

The Grudge DVD was different for rental than it was for retail. The Rental disc had a 4:3 telecine of a movie print so the DVD was 4:3 with Dolby 2.0 only.

all the menus were screwed up on my DVD player (Voxson DVD-MXK3)

Did the same thing in my Pioneer too. Couldn't get a main menu screen up at all and could only get it to play by pressing my sub-men ...
