Teak, I've seen A Man Called Hero, and to be completely honest, I didnt think much of it. It was a crap quality video (and I mean it really was a crap quality video...this may have been part of why I didnt enjoy it), but I found the story lacking and the plot was all over the shop. But it did have some good eye candy as you say.

Seen a few of the Y&D movies too. I like em.

Yeah- A man called Hero has some reasonable eye-candy- just not in such quantities- and while there was great hair involved with so many, the blue bits in Cloud's do- gorgeous..

Yeah- plot was a little shallow, too obvious 'Bad Guy does Bad Things- gets his just deserts from the people he trusted but did over' type story. Mud Bhudda was great tho- and the girl at the end (She's in JC's Gorgeous also) is really cool. The most obvious thing about the film was that most of the lush boys they had weren't fighters- Cloud was not very good no matter how pretty he was and the leather pants and shirt outfit at the end was a disaster area.

The computer graphics were quite nice- very good use of Particle systems throughout (I did study Computer Animation- can you tell?) And the compositing was quite neat with good rotoscoping, smooth transitions- good editing to create flow and follow the pace of the movie (I've also done Film and TV). It's just that the plot falters a bit.

I still like it and I still like A Man Called Hero- It's just that the best parts of the film isn't the plot for me.

Eh- cute and dressed much better- but his hair just wasn't anywhere near as cool- he was nicer and he would have been the one I'd have run off with in the end- but he just doesn't stick in my mind as well as Cloud.

This shows how long it's been since I saw The Storm Riders, and how late it was I meant Cloud. The guy with the blue bits in his hair

See- Lush. If only more boys had hair like that.

Nothing like a boy with really good hair. I was talking with the girls @ werk about this topic and we all agreed that Cloud was the prettiest boy of them all, that he couldn't act or fight for a toasted cheese sandwich with sand in it, (I just remembered the auto censor) but that he was the best set decoration.

The "A Man Called Hero guy" that you speak of is Ekin Cheng.

I reckon he's the man - you should see Tokyo Raiders [on DVD of course] to see more recent great stuff from him

he also appears in my series which I must plug http://www.angelfire.com/celeb/fbi

I can give you advice if I have a photo (recent) pref 3/4 profile then I'll draw a pic, scan and send. I actually cut my sister's hair into a really (and I mean REALLY) gorgeous anime-ish bob, she was very apprehensive about it, but she admitted that it looked great. I also cut a friend of mine's hair (who is sitting right beside me at this point- say hello Mandabear- *greetings *) and she never complained and came back for me to do it again (actually a few times- I felt like a personal hairdresser) So if I get a pic- you don't need to post it here- you can e-mail me it (look in my profile and I'll get back to you within a few days.)

One word- no. Too much- It'll look ok now but in 6 months you'll suddenly be remembered as 'that guy in the drag outift'. Either go pared down modern or classic- (eg- tails- always a good look) Never go cummerbund - Trust me.

Tails always look good- particularly if you wear them with a bright shirt- I wouldn't go for purple unless it was a very dark purple, lean far more dowards red-burgundy shirt, tie, waistcoat (looks good- trust me). I would tend to go for more the thin suit- (Think Reservoir Dogs) black or dark colours- nothing light coloured unless it happens to have been designed that way as a whole outfit, with a matching coloured shirt and tie. Try to avoid bowties- they tend to make you look like you have a thick neck. Either go as formal as that or go for a more casual- linen suit, generous cut, black- white non-stiff collared shirt with the black tie, suitable mafioso if that's what you'd like- but try to find out what yr partner is going to wear to see if that'll suit- I went as gangster moll to my formal- (and I looked FANTASTIC, even arrived in a hotrod)- but my partner didn't match. The best dressed boy at my ball was the guy who turned up in the thin suit with a black shirt and black tie... scrummy.

But it is most important that you find a suit that fits you!! If it doesn't fit you- no matter how good the whole outfit is you'll look like a sheep in a rubber suit! (It's a quote from DAAS.)

He has some of the coolest hair in the world. I love anime hair- I know the guy who manages the best comic store in Brisbane and we both agreed that anime hair is the coolest.- Yellow Monkey- I will try to chat to you onn ICQ- but for some reason it hates me and shuts down the moment that I sign in, if you have messenger e-mail me and I'll add you to my users list so that we can chat there until I get this temperamental (but pretty cool puter otherwise) thing to start werking.

Anyone think that the English names for these characters are little "different".Wind and Cloud I'm fine with but Sword Saint?or Simon(can't remember the rest but the word "ice" is in it...I think)from The Duel
