Was that Anime or a HK cinema movie? I didn't hear anything about it. Too busy watching that World cup.

I saw it last time it was on SBS. It's a pretty wacky (in that Japanese way) ninja sex comedy thing (sort of like 'Weatherwoman' meets Rurouni Kenshin but not as good). The special effects are pretty dodgy, and it's not really a good movie, but it does have some redeeming moments.

It also contains a scene that, in the words of Des Mangan, "gives a whole new meaning to the phrase 'head job'".

If that sounds like your thing, then, well, you missed a good'un.

Hentai bad! Unless it is live action and silly.

Was this an anime movie or a live action? Everytime I see a Japanese movie that's going to be shown in SBS through the TV guide, I keep hoping that it would be anime.

Yes, it is a live action.
StorminNorman, I agree. Des Mangan is so cool. He pulls off his cheesy wit with style

Like StorminNorman I saw it the last time it was on SBS. There are a number of really bizare and sexually orientated attacks in the movie that I found quite amusing. It's good see just once, for a laugh, but I would never watch it again.

How come the t.v. guide lists this as an animation? Is there an anime version or something?

It's obviously a mistake. A mistake that they made twice.

It's not like they update their listings or anything. Even SuperDes repeats his intros verbatim when a repeat is shown.

Now I know why this thread was moved. It wasn't an anime, damn tv guide. Well I'm not too worried about missing it now.

oh my god.. this show is er.. interesting to say the least.

umm.. it's your typical B grade Japanese flick with hentai elements, I taped off SBS last weekend and only just gotten around to watching it.

I gotta admit it is quite funny (even if it's for all the wrong reasons), correct me if I'm wrong but I think this show on some level tries to take itself a little too seriously.

in the words of the Des... "...I hope you were shocked by that movie, or perhaps pleased by it, or SHOCKED AND PLEASED by it..."

however the first time i saw it, the listing in the tv guide had it as Lady Ninja: Shades of Darkness, then the next time it was on it wa listed as Lady Ninja: Reflections of Darkness, was this a change in translation, or a reference to another in the Lady Ninja series (i think there are six so far... )
