as opposed to asking what's your favourite episode, i want to know what's your fave disc in the R4 6-disc set. actually we may as well say 'what's your fave disc in the boxset?' so that includes best sessions and the movie.

my vote is for disc 2, with faye on the cover because all of the episode's are great, and edward makes her first appearance! it's also the first time that we see faye has some feelings for spike, in sympathy for the devil, when she thinks spike wont come back.

heavy metal queen and waltz for venus are the episode's that made me fall in love with spike too Smile you can't get much cooler than spike in waltz for venus. and it's also uber cool to see the other side of jet in ganymede elegy.

i think it's also the first time you learn spike has a cybernetic eye in sympathy for the devil. we get a peek into his past.

PLUS! it's a 5 episode disc and we get quality extras, with interviews, not just profiles and propaganda.

so yes, 1 vote for disc 2. anyone else?

edit: what happened to all the madman avatars? are they fgone for good?

I'm gonna have to say Volume 6 is my favourite, closely followed by Volume 4.

Yeah, I'll have to agree with that. Cowboy Bebop has one of the best endings I've seen and the episodes leading up to that amazing finish are damn good as well. I've watched that dvd more so then any dvd in my collection I would have to say... (Cowboy Bebop or otherwise.)

I liked Volume 6 the best, the 3 ending episodes are the best I've ever seen.

Volume 5 had some fun episodes too. Smile

Disc 4, Black Dog Serenade and Speak like a child are great.
Disc 6, Hard luck Woman (Wo Qui Non Coin / Call me call me...yay!)
Disc 2, Ganymede Elegy (ELM!)

So there's my top three, with episodes also.

Definatley disc 6. Great ending to a great series, but i have got a couple of theorys on it...

For example the fading red star right at the end, could it be vicious's star or is it spikes?

Also has some good extras on it and the ending song is great.

Have to agree with tony on this one. It has the three ep ending on that disc and it was made brilliantly to tie up the series with no possible way for a sequal to be made with same characters. Spike being dead, Ed leaving and Jet and Faye probably going their seperate ways.

Disc 5 had the best ep ever on it cowboy funk. Andy is the biggest losser and that makes it so funny. Plus whenever his music started playing i couldnt stop myself from laughing Laughing
