Ep 7 was great lol
Kon's sad attempt at attacking Ichigo to wake him up was hilarious _________________ But someday beneath that mask of yours,

Part 8 was even better (as this series is getting with every episode).
A this point in time, the relationship between Ichigo and Ruki has grown into one of deep mutual caring and respect, without becoming romantic in the least. Few anime out there mangaes to keep such strong friendships between a boy and a girl (of sorts) platonic for as long as Bleach has. And that makes it all the more brilliant. _________________

Am I the only one who felt like they were watching Naruto with Ninjas substituted for ghosts from the first eppisode? I mean esspecialy the whole breaking that spell thing, I was just waiting for Sakura to pop out and say
"Is that really Naruto?!"
Some people have said that it gets better later, well I think my freind is getting it so I'll just get them off him. Also it probbably didn't help that I watched the first eppisode to try and fill the void that the lack of Gankuetsuou left... my god that show rocks |

Dude, it's a fighting anime. It's like: "Oh, my; I watched the magnificent seven, and it's just like the good the bad and the ugly but with more actors".
Most westerns have mexicans, cattle, and six-shooters. This is because this is what makes them westerns. Bleach is a fighting anime; it therefore has all the requisites of a fighting anime. This is what you're seeing. |

Bleach also has a healthy dose of Comedy, Drama and even Detective work thrown in. Not to mention some occasionally chiling and effective scenes of horror. _________________

Yeah but they didn't have to go to the extent were the main charecter even looks pretty much exactly the same as Naruto just a bit taller sans whiskers |

The only thing the two really have in common physically is the spikey hair. And it's not like those are the only two male anime characters ever to have spikey hair... _________________ Funya | Opinionated Anime Reviews |

I think Ichigo looks more like Seiji from Midori No Hibi. They even have the same attitude, but still have their differences. |

It is said on Bleach Character Profile Sites that Ichigo is actually an intelligent kid who performs excellently in his schoolwork, and that the man he admires is William Shakepeare.
Outside his studies, on the other hand, he is one violent dude. _________________

This isn't really plot related so I don't think it warrants a spoiler tag.
In the manga Ichigo mentions that he studies to keep his grades up to keep the teachers off his back. He already has a reputation as a trouble maker but as long as he can avoid getting into too many fights and keeps his grades up there's very little the teachers can take in the way of disciplinary action, especially if he can prove he didn't start the fights.
This is all revealed when there looking up their results from the latest mock exam.
Orihime came third (well actually second since their was a tie for first) _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

<rubs chin and muses on episode 9>
The fight with Grand Fisher was much shorter than I expected and not as brutal as in the manga. Also Ichigo loses some cool lines as well, so that was a bit of a bummer.
I was also surprised by the introduction of other Shinigami this early because it doesn't happen until several volumes later in the manga and until now the anime had been following the manga pretty closely. Still is at the moment, but that marks the first major alteration. _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

Dude, they're spirits, not Angels for christsake. Their weird designs are probably to reflect the non-materialism of being ethereal or something like that. Either that, or the designers fell asleep on the job. _________________ All anime is dubbed. Deal with it. |

If you have issues with the designs of the hollows, talk to Kuboite (the manga-ke) about it since the animators are staying pretty close to his designs. _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

Just saw eps 11 and 12
WOOHOO!RIGHT ARM OF THE GIANT!!
Though I'm it was a little more condensed than I thought. Then again I was expecting a little more in the way of dramatic posing as well. Still it was three or four manga chapters long and the earlier episodes were corresponding to about 1 anime episode = approx 3 manga chapters.
Still, next up is the Princess and the Dragon.
Also I was suprised by the depiction in the history shot of all the Quincy as archers, since the title of the fourht (I think) manga volume is 'Quincy Archer Hates You' does suggest that the Quincy came in more than one variety. _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

Shounen = boy.
In shounen manga refers to manga that is aimed primarily at an audience of teenage males. It includes most of the fighting genre (aka DBZ, Naruto YYH) and most of the mecha genre. Most of the time the lead characters are male and sometimes they are made into bishounen (lit Pretty Boys) to try and attract a female audience as well. _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

Been catching up with this show. Watched ep 7-10 over the last 2 days, this show is still pretty damn good, although ep 10 was a bit of a disappointing ep. (I guess this is how it happened in the manga though) |

I have, seen up to episode 22. The current storyline is pretty good, but the last episode I watched went quite off track. Bleach tends to do that, and sometimes it's just not funny what they do. Otherwise, great series. |

I wouldn't say FMA was boring, but it did tend to drag at times. Bleach to me is starting to seem a bit like dragon ball Z - example ep 26.... talk talk talk a start of a good fight and then next episode. Like dbz one fight over many eps. It's still got my attention though and ep26 was great it's like the door opened to non-stop fighting from now on _________________ "As the days go by, we face the increasing inevitability that we are alone in a godless, uninhabited, hostile and meaningless universe. Bleach is great, It is starting to get really interesting and all the episodes that have been coming out recently have all had a bit of humour and tension and I guess that is what hooks you on to Bleach. |

YAY ep 26 sees new hope for the anime...WOOT!
Also what did everyone think of the new opening and ending themes, i don't *really* like the ending theme but the opening theme is fantastic, it only misses one thing though...its not as catchy as the last one...will this hinder Bleach's progress? i think not...
I'm Neji signing off...

What do I think of the new opening (c'mon as if thats a spoiler it's common place now and it happened enough 10 years ago as well) is
Song = Not as good
Animation = Way better
Overall - Much better than the first
Timing = Should have started at ep 21.
And as for the ending I'll take nearly anything over that horrible second ending *shudders*

I really didn't like the new op at first, it's starting to grow on me now though. As for the animation.... Hitsugaya=happy fangirl tears.
I loved the ending theme as soon as I heard it, and a happy fangirl nosebleed ensued after seeing shirtless Renji ^_______^ |

The new opening and ending's certainly have better animation but the music isn't as funky but I guess the new opening and ending suit the second half of Bleach. |
