You heard wrong, then. There's only one series of Ikki Tousen. The only way you'd get a disc 6 of Ikki Tousen is if you're importing the Japanese R2 DVDs.

That would be a waste of money. Same number of ep's on the R4.

R1,R2 always more dvd's for more money >_<

R4 - always lower amount of dvd's with the same number of ep's as the R1,R2. R4 always better that way ^__^

Actually, R4 disc counts almost always match R1 disc counts. R2 is always more expensive than either, but which is more expensive between R1 and R4 can vary a bit.

Hahaha oh yeah.... it wasn't obvious until at the start I would say it was a bit obvious before the last episode on disk 4 also.

Do any of you stay around innaloo? I know that there is EBgames in innaloo mall, but is there anyplace better to by anime around that region?

Everytime i went there, they dont have a huge selection. And the staff dont seem to be too helpful.

Any suggestions?

ps: Is Howls Moving Castle coming out in Greater Union Innaloo also?

Yeah, that place is tiny; you might try JB's which is not that far from Innaloo Shopping Centre. It's on Scarborough Beach Road on the right hand side going towards the city. The 400 bus goes straight past it. Bright yellow thing, can't miss it. Happy hunting.

Ok thanks i'll have a look. But i went to Empire Toys at Hay Street today, they have alot of stuff. But is their goods abit overpriced? Their manga cost about $20, while at Ebgames its $15.

Yes and no. Their manga is actually reasonably priced. Remember, their manga range is imported from the US, EB's is locally distributed by Madman. Empire also have a lot of titles not released locally yet, so it's worth it. I also noticed that their manga seems to be a little cheaper than Quality Comics'

As for everything else they sell, yeah it's a little over-priced, but it's worth it some of the time.

Which EB do you go to? I cant decide which one is better.
And i am new to anime, got into the craze this year only.
But its quite sad to see that it is so hard to get Japanese stuff here, at least now its getter better and better. My school library has some manga now too!

You get around CreepC

I just stick to JB at cannington. Never can really go wrong there. But they didn't have dvd 5 of GITS and dvd 3 of Lunar legend's Sad
So instead I end up buying Gantz 1 and box and dvd 2 also dvd 2,3,4,6 of GITS

Was very tempted to get the 3 volume's of Mezzo but I will wait until I have paid other bills first and go from there Wink

Luna is in Leederville, and it's the only cinema (AFAIK) that's showing it in Japanese with subtitles. Greater Union and Hoyts are showing it dubbed, so if you don't mind that go there. They have better facilities (bigger screen, more seats, etc) and are cheaper on Tuesdays than Luna. But I personally would support Luna.

From my experience, they don't think you even exist unless you have previous sales experience. They also don't give a s*** if you know anything about games. That's why their staff are so unhelpful most of the time, and why everyone enjoys ranting about how bad they are, despite wide selection and half-decent prices.

well to work at EB you need alot of knowledge about games......and sales experience if you want a job there see Roul he is the person who hires and fires people i know him pretty well and if you buy alot there he wont hire you (me even though I'll be doing a bachelor of gaming next year he still wont hire me Sad )

in other news................ just got a letter from the Dean of the University to say that my semester average was over 75% and in the topic 10% of people and i'm now on the Honor Roll which is really exciting - as a result my mum said she would pay for my anime order this month YAY
