I don't know..... maybe you're only 8 and a half now.... so the chances would be pretty good.

I don't know anyone else, but every flat I've ever lived in seems to come complete with at least one mad old bat living on the ground floor.
As for a flat being too small, who needs furniture when you have anime. Very Happy

uh, i dont actually understand how the EB staff system works. But at the innaloo store, i think there is a manager and a assistant. U mean the staff switches frequently? Cause i see the same innaloo staff for weeks.

Actually innaloo just got a new manager its sam, as for morley the staff change so much coz raoul is getting rid of old staff at various stores, plus with the opening of more store in WA morley has become the new store for training up staff and managers to move on to the other stores Sam is a great manager and innaloo is lucky to have him - coz he was my favourite Sad
I must say raoul is kinda weird in that respect

hmmm

raoul was always ok with me as for you foxy that is entirelt different..

hmmm i think he goes through so many staff cause some aren't very reliable, that's why cannington had a high turn over of staff members

I can't believe you guys know the name of the staff in the EB stores.
You all must be pretty regualr. I go to JB in cannington pretty often and I recognise some of the staff working, but I don;t get to know them.
I suppose I treat JB the same as every other store.
I know what I want. I go in and get it. Get out. >_<
That's my shopping.

Is Battle Angel Alita any good?? I borrowed a copy off my school library a month ago. I think its a bit weird, maybe its old so i'm not used to the art.

Wow a CG film of it?? I got to re read the manga again!

battle angel alita i was wondering when was going to get the CGI treatment, ohwell better lte than never...

hopefully its not another stuff up like the cgi in golgo 13 with the apache longbow...

He lived directly below me. Kept complaing that I made too much noise. Tried to make a petition to get me kicked out, which failed coz noone else ever heard me (coz I never actually did make any noise). He eventually moved out ^_^

As for JAFWA, it's on Saturdays, 5-10:30... except for the first saturday of a month. You might want to try MAD or UWAnime as alternatives... but here's the link anyway:

I think MAD (Murdoch Animé Directive) screen on Sundays... or is that UWAnimé? The links to both are on the JAFWA page.

And JAFWA screen relatively new items, and once a week screen the first episode of a new series. Whether or not they show the whole series later is up to the audience (That's what the suggestion box is there for). They are currently screening Naruto, Yakitate Japan (or however it's spelt), something about American Football, and numerous other titles.

In fact, I will be going to JAFWA next week, since I'm conveniantly in Perth again that weekend ^_^

About Anime clubs, are any of you in one? I'm not too sure if joining an anime club is worth it, cause the anime they screen dont look too appealing.
UWAnime seems to have a really nice collection of manga though.

Yes, it's MAD that screens on Sundays. UWAnime screens on Fridays.

I'm an Ordinary Committee Member of UWAnime. And we're not all about screenings. ^^ Our clubroom is a popular haven for wasting time in between lectures (and sometimes during ^^;Wink. We sell cheap food and drinks, and have a fridge, microwave, sofa and TV. We also hold free screenings from time to time and during events (e.g. multicultural week)

And yes, our manga collection is growing. A lot of people actually come in to read manga as opposed to watching anime nowadays. ^^

I'd assume so. I've been in the UWAnimé club room once with a bunch of others when I turned up early for a WAI-Con meeting.

I used to be a member of JAFWA, but my membership ran out not long after I moved to Bunbury. I'd renew it next week if I had the money, but I dont Crying or Very sad
But anyone can turn up to JAFWA screenings, membership just gives benefits like being in the members prize draw, being able to use the manga library, and using their DVD ordering service. Oh, and a free copy of JAMWAF, a Animé zine, which I frequently have my work published in ^_^

I may have not made myself clear in my previous post. Screenings are open to everyone, it's just the clubroom facilities that are supposed to be for members only.

Our screening list can be found on our website (http://www.uwanime.org) but from memory we're screening atm: Naruto, Gundam Seed Destiny, Honey & Clover, School Rumble and more. Our marathon is coming up on October 1st, 1pm-9pm and we'll be showing the movie Shin Angyo Onshi so pop down if you have time. ^^

Maybe I will pop down. $3 entry for marathon's huh.
Do you get a lot of people turning up or only a hand full?

It a dollar more for marathons, so $4 for general public.

We get a lot of people signing up, and they turn up for the first few screenings or so, but then Uni work starts to pile up and the numbers tend to drop. So at this time of the year we only get a handful. Maybe a bit more for marathons. We'll see. ^^

w007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111one

I'm moving back to Perth in a month. Mwa ha ha ha hah!!!

I'll prolly be moving to the Scarborough area. If anyone can help me find work that'd be apreciated ^_^

On the topic of marathons, I'm not sure about UWAnimé's, but JAFWA marathons run from 1 till 10:30, that's 9.5 hours of animé goodness, minus breaks. In fact, one's coming up to celebrate their 15th anniversary (26th November methinx).
