I was going through the cast list and noticed that the character of Reiko is being played by none other than Keiko Kitagawa.

Better known as Sailor Mars in the live action Sailor Moon series.

I was telling friends about it who didn't believe me, we went to the movies and there was a coming soon poster for it.

I felt vindicated, but I wish it wasn't true.

Going to go see it Saturday morning. I'll post a quick review after I see it Wink

Yes it does suck that Bow Wow features heavly in the movie but is is like any token Black Guy seriously.

I saw this a few hours ago. Now, I'm not at all a Fast and the Furious fan. I didn't like the first two films, not at all. But I really enjoyed Tokyo Drift. It was really fun. Itís definitely the better of the Fast and the Furious films.

And there is a surprise cameo at the end. Try and guess who.

Nah, itís by no means a masterpiece. It's as worthless as the previous films. However, this one didn't grind my gears like the previous instalments. In fact, it's a very comfortable experience. It's not without its flaws but it's too much fun to care.

Plus Bow Wow isn't intolerable. In fact, it would have been less fun without him.

Spoiler Ahoy
I trying to figure out how good the car they modified would drift? Is it the 67' Cobra (Gunsmith Cats) that they modify? It's just that it looks heavy. I don't think that they would be able to drift it that well. Also who do you think would win in the Vin Diesel race? An American Muscle wouldn't stand a chance in a race in a parking garage.

Saw it Saturday night. Wasn't exceptional, but much improved over the originals, to the point where it almost could have stood alone instead of associating itself with the Fast and Furious franchise.

The makers have anticipated the many many cries of 'white men can't drift this will sux0r' and as a result they've made the film with that in mind, and it doesn't take itself too seriously.

Spoilier rant for people who have seen: 'Sif pull RB26 out of S15.

Its a Mustang, and the old car at the start of the movie is a Monte Carlo

I saw the film yesterday arvo.
Loved the stunts, but pretty much hated everything else.
It really just came down to showing off lots of drifting and cars, which is good and all, but they may as well just not even try and stick a story in that attempts to tie things.
It was alot better than 2 though, and that hulk car was great

bahaha. Oh man. I'm watching this thing on foxtel about this movie. They keep cutting between the movie (with actually interesting cars) and then local ricebuckets, like some pimped up Pulsar. And it showed some wog who said "I saw fast and the furious and I thought 'I gotta do that!' and went and bought my car to do up! [a lancer]". I thought that was just a 4chan joke Rolling Eyes

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO SEES HOW STUPID IT IS THAT PEOPLE ARE INSPIRED BY HIGH POWERED JAPANESE CARS TO RICE UP LOCAL PIECES OF CRAP WITH CHROME AND LEATHER AND NOTHING ELSE? DID THEY MISS THE PART OF THE MOVIES THAT TALKED ABOUT RUNNING 10-SECOND QUARTERS AND OTHER FAST THINGS?

At least they showed some actual aussie drifting, at least...

In all honestly I thought Tokyo Drift was a better movie overall than the first one. It had a decent storyline, the cars didnt associate with neons (thank god) and even Twinkie was bareable and showed some actual character. The drifitng was good and the many cameo appearences (Ayu Hamasaki, Keiichi Tsuchiya and Dominic Toretto aka Vin Diesel just to name a few) and the choice of cars was good too.

It was a very decent popcorn movie with its ups and downs, drama, comedy and action.
