We wont until we hear from the U.S. But it seems likely that the U.S. will licence alll 4 OVA's because of F.M.A.'s popularity. And whatever happens in the States will happen here.

TERRORIST ATTACKS!!!

FLEE FOR THE HILLS!!!

Not everything that happens in the States happens here - there have been a few exceptions - but I don't see why MM won't release them either...

An amateur video of Darth Tallis wearing panties on his, a flak jacket covered in toy M16 clips and a chicken wing on the right pocket, begins to play...

I am Tallis! Leader of F.A.C.K! Fullmetal Alchemist Acquisition Council and Kitchen! On the latter, the fish is on special on Fridays. We of FACK have an ultimayday... ultramagnus... ultraunleaded... We have demands for the Imperialist Pigs of Madman! Okay, so maybe you aren't pigs. I can't really pigs running a business, unless you count Bill Gates. Stupid windows 98. I go Jihad on it's ass!! Any way, where was I?

Some one off camera - Um? Pigs?

YES! Pigs! Like Babe in that movie. LALALALALAAAA....? Oh, wait! I mean... You Imperilistic Pigs!! Oh, wait? I think we've established you are not pigs. For that matter, you may not be imperialists. Although, not acquiring You're Under Arrest makes me wonder.

Some one off camera - Um? Excuse me? Fack?

HEY!! Fack you, buddy!!

Some one off camera - No! No! We're fack!

You said that. Not me. Remember that!

Some one off camera - No. No. Fullmetal Alchemist...

AH, YES!! You who are not pigs or imperialists of Madman! Just Madman! Our demands are simple! You will acquire all four Fullmetal Alchemist OVAs! Failure to so will result in a penalty!

*Moments pass.*

Some one off camera - Um? What is that penalty?

Um? Put **** in a bag, light it, ring the door bell, and run off laughing as they stomp it out, maybe? I don't know? I didn't think that far ahead!

Razz Very Happy

Seriously, I like the Chibi party one. Drunk Winry for the win! It'd be cool if Madman get them all. Smile

There are four OAVs, which were released together in March 2006 (if I remember correctly):
the "chibi party" OAV (of course)

the "kids" OAV - kids who (inexplicably) look exactly like young Ed, Al and Winry, but living in modern Tokyo. Minor post-movie spoilers.

the "State Alchemists vs. Homunculi" OAV - apparently was originally for a theme park event or something, and shown in one of those rollercoaster-simulator-type things. Not bad, but so far out of continuity it's ridiculous. Had a few (very) brief manga references, which I liked.

a "live-action" OAV involving an Alphonse statue or something... haven't seen it.

I always wondered why this one was done in first person persective. Now I know. Smile

What's weird is that it randomly switches from first person to third. Unless the person can fly. And Jess wasn't kidding about the bad continuity Razz Off hand, I think this was the first time a FMA character has used the name "Amestris" to refer to their country rather than just saying "the State" or something.

Just watched them all, OMFG that was weird. Such a pity they are so short (running time), I think my favourite was kids or military vs homunculi. Madman should really release these with the movie!

My personal theory is that she actually just went home with him after the chibi party. Probably pelting him with wrenches all the way...

It would seem that way (considering what his great great grandchildren look like) But I don't think that movie was made to make much sense. Those kids were identical to ed, al and winry.

...........one theory is the kids are not Ed's but Al's......

on the same note have the OVA's been licenced? coz i have heard nothing that contradicts they will release them.
(though considering that Funimation usually has NO CLUE what the fans want im guessing they wait a few months and then release a Primium or Platnum movie collection type thing)

Vic's voice doesn't suit Ed! EEEE...!!

Darth Tallis jumps about, limbs flailing to and fro avoiding a wave of shurikens as Cobizah lets slip the dogs of war.

CHIHUAHUA - Woof! Woof! (Translation - I am the destroyer of worlds. Especially at the dinner time.)

WHOA! WHOA!! WHOA! I'M KIDDING!

Cobizah stops her tirade and glares at Darth Tallis, who is now standing in a very awkward position dictated by striking point of teh shurikens on teh wall behind him.

Seriously! I'm kidding! I just wanted to see if you'd actually do it!

Darth Tallis, looks down, which is quite difficult, given that his neck is craned pretty far back enough for his head to be facing the ceiling above. All done to avoid one particular shuriken, which is lodged in the wall at a point mere millimetres away from his throat. He manages to twist his neck about to get a glimpse of his groin, which was in every bit a precarious a position as his throat.

Clearly, in hindsight, something I should not have attempted.

I'd hate to see their voices change. x.x; It never suits anime.

In Sailor Moon they changed Serena's voice and I absolutely hated it. Crying or Very sad

In Neon Genisis Evangelion they had quite a few of the charaters as a little kid. Good thing they didn't change the voice actors in that.

I've seen Chibi Party. It's adorable.

In Duel Masters they got rid of all the older voices and replaced them with new ones. They also changed the story so that the bad guys became good.
That was about where I stopped watching it.

Where did you see Chibi Party?

And what happened to the page-width?

The page width stretched.

I watched Chibi Party on Youtube.

Aparently in Pokemon they are changing all the voices of the charaters, and they suck.
