Roy Destroed the dummy badly enough that it was truly recogniseable. From memory he may have had fake dentures made of her teeth, but I can't remember for sure. As to when it's revealed, I can't remember if it's volume 10 or 11, but I do know that it's when Ed and some of the military go into the (eastern?) desert to some ruins. Sorry, I really can't remember much more than that. _________________ Want a FREE TICKET? Click here!!

All the homunculi's death correspond with the Bible I heard.
For exampleWhen Roy burn't Lust to death Lust died according to something said in the Bible about lust be eliminated by flame (or something like that). _________________ I'm 13 and a music fantatic.

Gir uses blood to unseal Akira's lips
Gir: Tell me!!!!!
At least answer this then...from my FMA artbook 2
Ed and Al are in battle stances and Envy is inbetween them. The thing is, Envy's right hand appears to be doing what Greed does, becoming the ultimate shield. Also, Envy's left eye is glowing. Could this somehow mean Envy is gathering the powers of dead Homonculus? (I'm not too sure on this, its just an idea...anyone know about it?

There's a store in Sydeny City called Kinokuniya (not sure if it's anywhere else is AUS..) and they have a section on Japanese (you know, manga in Japanese, artbooks, etc) that's where i got it, but it cost $32
worth it though! _________________ The Doctor: A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting.

My thoughts:
It seems as though Envy is retaining the powers of other Homonculus. In the picture I posted, it appears that Envy's arm is becoming much like Greed's ultimate shield. Also the eyeball glinting could suggest Wrath (Pride in the anime)'s ultimate eye.
Now, I've seen how Greed dies (he gets lowered into a vat of...stuff (i only glimsped through it...shutup) and his essence is turned into a liquid which is drunk by a man who mysteriously looks like Hohenheim (...). Could it be possible Envy was able to extract this from Hohenheim or whoever that man was?
This is just a working theory... _________________ The Doctor: A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting.

Actually you're a lot closer to it than you may realise. I don't know who the bloke is that you're talking about
don't have to read this next bit, it's a biiiig potential spoiler...
but Hoenheim is also a homonculus if I remember correctly, which would explain how they look to similar
and now, back into the potentially smaller spoilers...
Anyway, this bloke (I think the homonculi call him 'father'? Been a while since I read it) is the creator of them. They're created in an entirely different way to the homonculi in the anime, you find that out once Wrath reveals himself to Roy and Ed. I don't think that's all that far away from where you're up to, assuming you've actually read this far! Anyway a basic idea of the manga homonculi is (I think, this is purely from memory) that they were once normal humans who have been turned into homonculi by this alchemist bloke. I don't fully understand it myself but what he seems to have done is taken his own sinful desires and implanted them into these others. I can distinctly remember one panel in which this bloke is leaning over the "Fuher (sp?) Candidate" and says 'will you be the one to accept/take my wrath?' Then he is actually injected with a viscous fluid that looks very like the Stones in the anime.
I really need to catch up on MM's releases.
EDIT:
Before I forget this again:
Greed Is actually re-created. I forget when exactly. Chapter 50-something I believe it was. I won't say who though. _________________ Want a FREE TICKET? Click here!!

Izumi beats the crap out of Ed for joining the military, and then again for breaking a taboo.
Or is that at the end of volume 6? Can't remember exactly. _________________ Want a FREE TICKET? Click here!!

There's actually a couple of "Volume 00" books - there's the omake book, and there's also one that came out with volume 14 of some of Arakawa's rough sketches. _________________ We are Team Rocket! All your Pokémon are belong to us! |
