Are there any lyrics out there for all the versions of the rap opening? And what are they called?

"Yo ho ho, he took a bite of gum gum".

HOW POETIC, I SURELY WISH I COULD RAP LIKE THAT.

We shouldn't call it gay~ We don't want to shame homosexuals by associating them with such an awful song Razz

You know, for the first five seconds of the opening narration, I almost thought it was going to break out into an english rendition of 'We are!'. Alas, it was not to be.

What bugs me is that there is an English version of 'We are!', but for some reason 4Kids didn't use it in the final version...

I think we are over exaggerating, yes; the rap isn't atrocious, although I would have preferred We are!. My favoured opening is probably Hikari e, but We are! sticks as being distinctively One Piece.

I just didn't like the fact that they altered the opening to a style that's completely different from the up-beat pop songs that populate One Piece. We'll probably never know why they scrapped the english version of We are! either. Maybe it had to do with 4Kids not wanting to pay music royalties, which could also explain why the orchestral score was replaced.

Derr rap is popular, all the kiddies can brake it down, hey rapping pirates are cool, aren’t they?

Ok can I sound any more sarcastic? Probably any way to get back on topic I hate the intro the first time I heard it I laughed for about 25 minutes then I cried for another 25 minutes on how bad it was. Out of the Japanese intros I like the Bon Voyage! Eps 169- 206 and favorite ending theme is Dreamship

Brand New World is pretty awesome. Pitty it was the least used Opening ever... Crazy Crazy Rainbow Star is pretty cool as well.

I liked most of the Japanese intros and closing credits, but the English intro is just horrible, the more I listen to it the stupider I become.

According to 4!Kids they prefered the "rap" over the English We Are! (which was originally going to be used).

Meh, would've been better off with the Japanese "We Are" in my opinion. But that said, that's MY opinion, and would've been a bad idea when they were aiming the show at kids. LOL I've pretty much just made this post useless. But, either way, the rap sucks (and yet in some sick twisted way, i find it cute lol.
