I bought Godzilla :Tokyo SOS on dvd last wedenesday. When I watched it,
the film kept freezing all the time. I gave the dvd back to Jb's Hi-fi and the woman at the counter said the continous pausing was due to a watermark on the centre of the dvd caused from when it was pressed. I watched my replacement copy last night and,as well as continous pausing once more, parts of the picture occasionly broke up into little squares. Has anyone else had the same problem with Madman's Godzilla:Tokyo SOS dvd release? Has Madman recalled any copies? I haven't seen many copies at various stores.

My copy had no problem. When abouts was the pause? Or was it stop-go playback?

Could it be your player spitting the dummy? How many players did you test on? What player(s) did you test on?

You might get more help in the Production & Technical forum.

Hi, I hope it is alright to reply here and I am not breaking any rules on reviving threads. (I could not find any)

Anyways, I have another dubbtitle question (I do not mean to be rude about it.),

Does the Tokyo SOS have dubbtitles on it instead of acurrate subbtitles? I am asking because if the formal, I would have to just keep my sony dvd, but if the latter, I will give my old dvd to my nephew and get this one. Thanks and again, I do not mean to be rude or anything. Embarassed
