Well technically Madman does have One Piece. But only the 4kids version.
I believe at a convention last year the question arose and the response was that getting uncut One Piece would depend on how much Toei was planning on making them pay for it.

So an uncut release of the One Piece series, will be based on sales of movie 8, which is just a recap of Alabasta arc of One Piece. That doesn't make any sense at all, and sounds like it is doomed to failure.
It is bad enough One Piece was released with edited English dub only on DVDs, after promises of an uncut release. But we might not even see a local uncut release of One Piece series now. |
