Just wanna know, I understand that in Vol 1-4, all 14 episodes are covered in all it's glory, however, what's in VOL 5, I still got one more space for one more dvd in the box, but I don't think it ment to keep your vouchers in that space.

The extra space is for the broadcast order dvds (assuming you're gonna redeem it later Wink).

Take vouchers, mail vouchers (and $10), wait a while then slip the double DVD case into slot 5 thus giving you 2 ways to watch teh Haruhies

or keep the vouchers as a collectable and figure out what else will fit in that space

One would assume that they'll just do a run for the number of redmptions that are placed prior to the cut-off date, which is still quite a long while away.

Given the huge popularity of the 1st season and the huge levels of anticipation it generated, I would assume a local release of the 2nd season would be as close to a "sure thing" as it gets in Anime circles

was going to ask this question myself, but I figured it was for that reason.

Looking forward to getting the broadcast order, will it be in English as well as Japanese?

If it's like the Bandai release, probably subs only.

I sent my vouchers today.

1. 100% confirmed there will be English audio. For those wondering we've just left the next episode previews as music only in the English language track since they never dubbed the crazy adlib next ep previews between Haruhi and Kyon.

Will the broadcast order dvds be available by any other way than the vouchers? I was planning on buying the completed box set, but now I'm thinking I want the broadcast order too.

Basically what I'm saying is... will the box set contain the broadcast order dvds?

I seriously don't think they will be.

Then again, I seriously thought the Guild Wars Bonus Mission Pack was only going to be for people who spent the required amount within the promotion period. Shows how far you can trust a company when money is concerned*.

But still, I don't think it will be, and it's better to be safe than sorry.

*For the non-Guild Wars players out there, this was a special promotion to unlock 4 extra missions on your account, if you used the Guild Wars online store in a certain period. It was said to be the only way to get it. A few months later they started selling the mission pack in said online store >_>

A more positive way to put it would be to say that companies will sometimes bow to overwhelming consumer demand and offer a product or service in more ways than what was initially stated to be the only way.

Still, you should never count on it happening. I can't recall any anime companies changing their minds on the availability of LE stuff, and I've seen nothing to indicate it'll happen here.

I'm just wondering, Will the voucher redeemed DvD be shipped to other countries, say like, New Zealand? I have the vouchers, I want the bonus, but it's no good me sending off for it if I can't receive it because I live a 2 - 3 hour plane ride away. Crying or Very sad

If you live in NZ you have two options.

Either send it to the madman NZ offices OR the Madman AU office. we will accept it either way.

So when you say the Madman AU office, I assume you mean the address that it tells me to send it to normally (the one on the vouchers), right? There isn't a special address I have to go look up? If I just use the one on the vouchers, I'll send them there.

Yup the AU office is the PO box one on the voucher.

uhh.... yeah, there is one in the works, but its not going to be released here until 1. its released in Japan 2. its licenced in the USA and 3. when it gets licenced here. As we've said VOL 5 or S is just the broadcast order. dont have to get so passionate about it Laughing

Exact same thing with me, though I was worried I'd have another courier screw up and not get it at all. Though I'm glad that it did, and I'll be watching it tomorrow morning first thing. Laughing

As I was just getting to my driveway after a walk I hear a motorbike behind me and turn around, it was the Postie with my Haruhi Volume S DVD.

Talk about the best timing ever.

Me too! I wasn't expecting it for awhile, thanks Madman! I wasn't quite sure whether the extra dvd was worth it when I ordered it, but not having to change discs every couple of episodes is a bonus and the SOS reverse cover is nice too!
