Just because I should have done it in the first place
heres a list of what I would like to see the RP Forum look like.

Also since someone did ask us to do that as well... >_<

RP SET OUT
* characters can be off any anime, video game, cartoon etc...
* clans can be made for those characters
* RP can be as little or as big as you want....
* RP battles can be violent or not so violent (in regards to the regulations of the madboards of course!)

I will put more up later, when I am available to do so at another time and date.

Like I was saying to someone else here on the Madboards. I knew he would eventually return. Heh heh.

Welcome back Edward, hopefully you have mellowed a bit and are keen to get along with everyone now?

Enjoy.

For fun! Its all about having fun.

Plus new things are always looked over at first glance.
I'm sure people will get into it, if its given a chance.

I find it funny to see this form getting postís again.
I mean itís been dead and forgotten about for awhile now.
Anyway madman is a DVD site not a social site. Yes it might have forms but thatís about it.
If you add to it u just realy just take away what it realy is and lets face it madman prob wouldnít be able to look after an rp set up. With all the nuts that would go to it and what not.
And it would prob kill the server.

I give it a week before its forgotten again lol. Laughing

True. But it can be more than just that, can it not?
Social sites rock, Everybody likes a social site.

What's the harm in making it a social site, as well as a DVD site.

Ah, no and no. If you want this to be like FB or MS then get out because I come here to get away from those places. Razz

If you want to really do this thing, then why not start it off and see if people take to it... if not, then let this thing go to idea heaven.

I don't, no need to jump to conclusions Edward. Social sites suck! Well sites like FB & MS at any rate. A site where popularity is based on the number of friends in your "list" is no good as far as I am concerned. Very shallow indeed. Not to mention emotionally draining etc; etc; etc; don't get me started on social networking sites. You will be here all day if you do Rolling Eyes

Yeah, that's right, I have no friends, I will admit it, but it doesn't bother me one iota. Not a bit. Indeedy.

I can't imagine that you would be the type of humanoid to make fast friends anyway, so why so keen on these types of sites anyway?

Yeah FB and MS do suck I must admit. I still cringe to this very day about why on earth I joined MS to begin with. I will never bow to peer pressure again, that's for sure.

I don't see any problem with being here all day, I have nothing better to do, except to catch up on some reading.

I had a bunch of friends on MS, but that meant nothing.
I just slowly began to hate the stuff, until I deleted my account eventually

Beats me, maybe just to cure boredom, That's what I tried to do once anyways, and just for a good talk with someone. That's what I used it for personally.

That's what I'm counting on....

We will get huge amounts of support for this, maybe not in liking RP, but just to see how it will all turn out.

I used to RP on this other site I used, and it was so much fun! It totally rocked!

That was a thing of beauty (yes, pun) and pretty much sums up the whole thread. If ya wanna do this RP idea young Eddie, just go and do it. There's a creative writing forum and that's all you really need.

Young eddie doesn't like that idea, because its just not the same.
RPing is completely different to fan fics, there's so much more involved
for starters.

It would be nice if you actually listened to people... okay so you have set out some basic rules, now give people some choices for storylines, characters, etc, blabbity blah blah.

Then YOU begin the role play, and if people decide to join in, then great, but if noone wants to do this thing, then please stop trying to get people involved in something thats never going to get off the ground because all you do is talk about how 'awesome' this idea would be, yet never go beyond why it would be awesome.

I'm not trying to be harsh, would just like to see a conclusion either way.

I do listen. I already explained the basics, thats more than enough,
and in terms of storyline characters, its up to them to decide.

They can even make up characters and storylines, if they really want to.
It doesn't have to be 100% genuine.

Yes it is awesome and I would like to see this awesome idea surface
and be made into a forum for people to indulge in to their hearts content.

Give it a chance people! that's all I ask. ^_^

No, you don't listen. Don't you think that if people were interested, they would have started something by now?

And as I already said twice, if you want this so badly, then please start it off yourself, as in begin the role play and hopefully other people will take it on board. You can't just point and say 'I want this to happen, so all you others do it for me', you have to lead people into it.

How can people 'give it a chance' when all you're offering is an idea? You have to give us something more substantial than that.

I think RPing falls outside of the scope of these forums. That said, if you want to try it, perhaps try to kick something up in the Fanart/Fanfic forums and we'll see how it goes.

Honestly, though, we'll have a video game forum before we have an RP forum.

Yeah your right, I don't listen. I'm always spacin' out somewhere else entirely.

How can I start if off myself if theres no forum for it.

make a forum for it, and I'll start if off my self.
give it a trial period, lets say a week, and if that fails

We'll flush this RP stuff down the drain forever and never talk about it again.

What do you say?

You don't have to come to the thread if you don't want to, but your presence would be very much appreciated.

(Also I will be taking some time to make this thread, as you would, so it might take a few ass days to finish up.)
