Speaking of Supanova, i noticed something in this post from the thread over at PALGN.

Every year there's this guy as Darth Vader which he has a milk crete with a gabage bag attatch on his head um sorry if that's someone on here!! I loved the where's wally dude, but he was too easy to find! I can't wait it just gets better every year. |
Now i'm thinking, that's not supposed to be Darth Vader. It's you Crate Man, isn't it? |

So, who's going to Supanova this weekend? If all goes well, I shall be attending with a harem of girls in tow. That is, if the "friends" of the girl I'm currently going with are all female, as I assume them to be. _________________ Currently watching: More series than the signature character limit allows Recently finished: AIKa, Noir, Kamen no Maid Guy, Lucky Star, Black Lagoon, Dominion Tank Police, Fate stay night, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Library War, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Honey and Clover. |

I'll have another 4 count them 4 new titles to announce in addition to the ones we announced last week.
I will also be screening a 2.30 trailer not seen outside of Japan for FMA Brotherhood at the Madman Panel.
This is of course all in the lead up to the worldwide exclusive simultaneous screening of Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood on Sunday at 6pm _________________ Screening Room+

So far I'm coming with an anime-otaku, an author, a film director, a cartoonist, and two hard-core gamers.
Figure was a nice representative sample for what's going to be on offer _________________ Can't sleep ... clowns will eat me ... |

Posted this on the Supanova forums as well, and would appreciate it if you all passed the message on if you think this might be your friend, or a friend of your friend.
Very late in the day today we had someone come up to us at the TradingFigure.com stall (the long 3 space stall next to the goth loli fashion place, in case you didn't see our name) and ask for something which we only had one left of, the display up on the wall. When we went looking for the box however, we weren't able to find it. We're a little worried that we may have perhaps sold that box to someone else, thinking that item was inside.
Now, our stall was fairly cluttered at the time, and we may end up finding the box tomorrow, so this could all be a false alarm, but if by any chance we did sell someone a dud empty box, please contact us at TradingFigure as soon as possible (if you can, just bring yourself and the box down to the stall tomorrow) for a full refund. |

PICS!!!!
"Whoooo is the man in the suuuit? Who is the cat with the beeeeeeak?"
]
I was pretty much willing to call this awesome Assassin's Creed cosplay the winner, right up until I saw...
Yes, that's Pedobear cosplay. Appropriately enough, he was often getting photos taken with little girls (whom I doubt were aware of who he really was).
This guy was pretty tall, prefect for Luigi cosplay!
Jinkies! I smell a mystery!
Maybe these guys didn't have quite the right build for Evangelion cosplayers, (are there any real people that could be that skinny?) but they did a really nice job on their plug suits.
Freya/Chii cosplayers continue to be a popular choice.
There were quite a number of Soul Eater cosplayers this year, but this Dr. Stein was the only one I managed to get a photo of.
"That Engineer is a spy!" I had been hoping there might be some Team Fortress 2 cosplayers, and there were
An impressive Konata cosplayer. Not only did she have Konata's small build, she managed to make the bright colors of Lucky Star to work in a actual costume.
I met Jhonen Vasquez and got him to sign my Invader Zim boxset!!! He's a lot smaller and skinnier in person. When I remarked to him about it being "a shame Nickelodeon were such dicks about the whole thing" he said "Who knows what could happen?". New series of Invader Zim is possible maybe...? _________________ Currently watching: More series than the signature character limit allows Recently finished: AIKa, Noir, Kamen no Maid Guy, Lucky Star, Black Lagoon, Dominion Tank Police, Fate stay night, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Library War, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Honey and Clover. |

I was after a photo from the Brisbane Supanova.
I had a fair few photos taken of me, and I was after some good ones. I was the No Face from Spirited Away.
I would appreciate it so much! Thanks! |

I dont think its their build thats the problem as such, but the fact that plug suits are just too tight. Espicially for guys.
BTW I like the konata cosplay _________________ Visit my...

Just as an update to this if anyone was interested, I'm glad to say that the above situation was cleared up. That person contacted us on Sunday (without having seen either post I'd made about it), and it turned out to be someone we actually knew quite well, so there was no hard feelings there, and everything got sorted out.
Sadly however, it appears we may have had a similar issue with a couple of the figures we had in display. Some were sold without their original boxes, which we had assumed accidentally got thrown out with the rubbish on Saturday, but one customer has since contacted us regarding an empty box. Thankfully, we still have one of those figures left, so that customer will be getting theirs soon (together with a partial refund for the trouble), but if anyone else out there had a similar issue, please contact me at the earliest possible opportunity. |

God it would have been nice to get ALL of MY fellow mad boarders in the one spot (that's right you all belong to me), but alas that didn't happen.
What i do need help with is this. At the 2pm signing I went to get Amber Benson's autograph, she took one look with dylan, and just melted with his cuteness. so a gladly handed him over for her to hug. Now if anyone here knows if anybody who was there taking photos or anything like that it would be greatly appre-see-8-ted. _________________ Things which maybe lurking outside your front door:- "CH3353 N1NJ45","Lhurgoyfs","Reverse-Emos"
