I own Madman's DVD release of Skins Season 1 & 2.
Skins season 3 is now airing on SBS - but I've noticed that they're airing the American edited version (i.e. lots of music has been changed - even to the extent of scenes having been reshot with the characters singing lyrics from different songs).
Will Madman's DVD release of season 3 be this edited version? - meaning that I'd be better off importing from the UK - or will you be releasing the original unedited UK version?
(Is this the correct place to post questions about non-anime related DVD releases?) |

| season 3 has a different cast, wondering if u need to have seen the first two series to understand series 3? |

One of the main characters in season 3, Effie, also appears in the first two seasons (she's the younger sister of one of the main characters from those seasons) and her friend Pandora also appears in season 2.
I prefer the first two seasons to the third - and I'd suggest watching those first, but it's certainly not necessary.
