|
|
I noticed the other day that the first season of Bleach was in a slim pack with all 5 dvds of the first part Agent of the Soul reaper.
Well Bleach has always been released in box sets but now season slim packs are becoming available.
I was wondering since the Bount arc is also released as a starter box set, meaning you have to collect each DVD-at-a-time but wouldn't it be easier to release it all in a slim pack instead.
If slim pack are becoming available I want to know if future seasons are gonna be released as either Starter box sets or start becoming slim packs instead.
I don't mind starter box sets but they take up space but slim packs are so easy to store.
Since if there's gonna be both slim packs & starter box sets I was wondering when the slim packs are gonna be released...Is it after the box sets are finished?
I just wanna know if it's best to wait for slim packs then since it's easier for me to collect in bulk.

Bleach is a series that needs to be slimpacked, and should be released only in collections. So at least it's a step in the right direction. _________________ Give in to the demon inside. It will set you free...

Since Bleach started as individuals and box, it will remain releasing like that initially. When a box is filled, it will release as a box collection (stock permitting, I suppose) when the next individual + box is released, or thereabouts. Once stock of these collections are depleted, it will come out in slimpacks. Therefore there is no set time period for the release of the slimpacks. _________________ Nullus Anxietas |

Naruto also, if I recall, started that way too. It's not now. Bleach should follow suite, being sold only in collections. _________________ Give in to the demon inside. It will set you free...

Forgot about that. But as I recall (am checking), that's what happened in the US; it started individually but Viz went back and started the 3-disc collections. Without the US doing that for Bleach, Madman is unlikely to do it on its own. _________________ Nullus Anxietas |

Bleach is one of the exceptions to the rule, since it started before the new process came in we will continue to release this series with start sets WITH bellybands and also print limited quantities of the season sets as a collector's box before moving to a slimpack. _________________ Watch FREE Anime Episodes

Damn, I was hoping that series the length of Bleach would start getting released sensibly. _________________ Give in to the demon inside. It will set you free...

SO it starter sets first...then full collectors box and then the slimpacks.
Boy so much for WAITING for slimpacks as we have to wait for the box to be FULLY completed until a slimpack is released.
Slimpacks collections are SOoooo easy and simple and you get the whole season in one hit, but we have to wait for them.
So in other words the Bount arc and other arc slimpacks won't be released until the boxsets are finished first. |

when Bleach ends would you possible release the whole series in one massive boxset like they did Stargate and some other shows? also does the DVDs still have no subtitle track for text? |

You mean japanese text within the show like signs and stuff.
Well I can't remember if the subtitles translate japanese writing in the show.
It's been awhile since I have watched an episode with japanese text on screen. |

I prefer to get the slimpacks anyway that way I can get the whole collection in one go instead of waiting for the next volume to be released. It has worked with Naruto so it should work with Bleach. _________________ When you kiss you like too... |

I remember at the beginning people complained about lack of text because it ruined some of the early jokes, it was especially weird as one of the eps of FMA has Ed opening his mouth the the word 'what?' in it which was translated |

I have to get back to you on this as I don't know about the Soul Society arc and text.
Since there's not much text at all in Soul Society which is why it's hard to remember if there's any. |
