So the series has premiered in Japan, and by luck of global positioning, Australians can view it legally at http://en.gundam.info, streamed practically the same time it airs in Japan.

So with that being said, I thought I'd start up a thread to discuss the series as it airs.

So based on Episode 1, I like what I've seen. They've revealed enough of the plot to make me interested in seeing Episode 2, and it feels a little fresher than 00 at the moment. Interesting that in this universe mobile suits existed in the past, but it's ike they've forgotten how to make them. So does this mean that it actually exists in the original series' timeline? Maybe they'll devolge that info at a later date.

Couldn't help but think the scene where the professor attached the Gundam's arm to another mech was advertising the builder toy line that's coming out.

So what did you guys think?

Stream needs to be better than 360p (same goes for the NicoNico version of Fate/Zero)

Moving on from that... not sure yet. I still find the character designs rather off-putting. However I do like the design for the UE mecha and they represent an interesting variation on the Gundam franchise.

End result... will keep watching.

Havnt got around to watching it yet and the fact that its 360p isnt really making me want to rush over and watch it. Surely they can give us a better quality video. Seriously! Mad
I might have to watch it via other means.
But i am fairly intersted in it, so i think i will get onto it soon.

Yeah dam these people and giving you free stream that they're losing ad revenue for by not broadcasting it! And so quickly too! What a gip man!

For those unaware, yes, that's sarcasm.

I have watched the first 2 episodes so far.
I was very excited to see this series from the moment i saw the first shot.

Not sure what the hoo haa about character designs is all about.
People complain all the time that things become stagnant and boring. That they need something fresh. This is a fresh take on the designs and I like them. The storyline is quite enjoyable so far too.

AGEFAN!
