yeah its is rather nice and shiny but everythings so much bigger takes up more space. and it fells a bit 'blog- like' when i'm viewing fanart! i guess it just seems to be bigger is all, i mean i swear i have to scroll down more now. |

Indeed.. I don't emidietly like the new stile as a whole but with a little time it's just a mater of adapting.. however the removed links will always be an inconvenience compared to how it was. _________________ Watashi Wa Nekomata

It's good the "New Topic" button has been removed from the bottom of the page, it was annoying me in it's new position. |

Trebuchet is a terrible font, though.
ALSO:
Stylesheet bug: Whatever it is that applies the font in the stylesheet doesn't appear to work in Safari. The font used in the headings doesn't turn into the hot new Madman font.
EDIT: Screenshots:

This is due to the fact that Safari doesn't support Embedded OpenType fonts or the Web Open Font Format. The latter format is something that has been addressed in the WebKit nightly builds, so hopefully you'll see the correct Madman font in Safari in the not too distant future. |

More changes, the text seems to be darker and you can log out on each page now and the posting box has been altered. |

Pretty red bar at the top is not only pretty, but useful. Good work, I'm glad to see our feed back isn't going to waste!
Speaking of which, are we sure nothing can be done about all the clutter at the bottom of every page? Do we really need all those links? Not to mention payment information, since on the forums it's not relevent and all.
Oh and some new emoticons would be fun _________________ Being together, all alone walking hand in hand.

Yes, it's the difference between life or death!
Haha, no I guess it's not really a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. I just find it frustrating when you're scrolling down a really long thread to see the most recent posts, only to find you have gone past the last post into a sea of links (as per screenshot below using IE, to show you what I see)*
I just want to know why we need all of these links, isn't it a bit excessive for a forum?

Agreed... its annoying when you hit the 'end' page button (to avoid all the extra scrolling it seems you have to do now) and end up in all of that instead of just below the the locked threads.

Advertisement is advertisement is advertisement I guess. But I agree that it is a little excessive for the forums. _________________ He would stare at empty chairs

The spacing in that screenie is horrible. On my computer using Firefox, the lines don't have spaces between them, and each bulleted text is on one line. That last one may be from having a widescreen monitor, though.
One positive is that if the last post is the "first new post", it's much more likely to start at the top of the screen, than having part of the previous post above it. _________________ Nullus Anxietas |

There in is a different point.. not everyone has a 22" windscreen... it is a small thing but it is a little annoying.. I recall when the anti piracy ad was pout down there..
hmm something that is quite a nuisance is the Highlight and dodgy thread still having thous 'ghost' posts, half the time you enter the last page or go to newest post to find it doesn't exist and then have to go back and forward again manual. (also after having made a post and it happens) _________________ Watashi Wa Nekomata

dunno if it's just me but it seems that the links and stuff below, the "box" area seems to be causing side scroll.
my screen is 1024 pixels wide (netbook) and the area at the bottom of the page is wider than that, wider than the viewing area on the pages on the forum and I think they can be all pulled together to be tidier, especially the entry bar for the email can be shorter as well _________________ I am a 100% Belldandy fan and Ah! I just checked on an iPhone, and I'm not having that problem at all.
Slykura wrote: | It's all at the bottom of the page. Does it really matter that much? |
It's kind of annoying when browsing on an iPhone.
Also, one of the Flash ads may be causing issues with Flash on Linux. I have a friend who's been unable to browse the forums at all since the upgrade due to his browser hanging everytime it tries to render a page with a Flash ad in it.
Browser is Firefox something-or-other for Linux. _________________ XBL: Tamaaya | PSN: Stormo | Steam/GameCenter: StorminNorman | Stormo Plays Games

If i bump up the res on my netbook to above 1024 i don't have that side scrolling issue but then again i have to scroll around on the screen so kinda pointless.
Also i tried in IE and it makes everything left justified due to the stuff below and kinda looks like Spritza's pic
In Opera, it all fits on screen when you look at it but for some reason there is sidescrolling. Maybe if the email entry field was cut back by like 1/4 it wouldn't do that. I dunno. _________________ I am a 100% Belldandy fan and Ah! My Goddess Obsessor! |

This is something really minor, but one thing I've noticed is that the Madman logo link at the top left is really pixelated (at least on my monitor here at work, will have to check at home). Maybe should use a Vector for it? |

Er you might want to shift + refresh your page
Or it could be that you've zoomed in. without realizing? resetting the zoom might help _________________ Watch FREE Anime Episodes
