I prefer dubbed but I don't hate subbed

If the series is good enough I guess, I will say I have never imported anything before so preferably not |

I highly recommend the Haruhi Movie as well, especially on bluray.
I have The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya season 1 and 2 on bluray which I imported from Japan (English dub included) for around AUS$330 if I recall.
I also recommend giving Oriemo and lucky star a look as well with both being available from madman. _________________ I Survived Madgate 1 & 2

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya blu-ray box set includes 2 concerts, one forgettable due to poor production quality and one absolutely wonderful orchestral concert conducted by Philip Chu of Eminence and with Hiroaki Yura of Eminence as a guest soloist, along with songs sung by Aya Hirano and Minori Chihara (the latter acting in-character as Yuki Nagato). |

I have all those titles except for Madlax, Phantom and Chaos;head from that list lostone. I also watch my anime in english and not japanese unless it's pron.
Strike Witches - underage nudity, panty flashing and aerial combat. The dub is ok, but not one to watch in public unless you want people calling the cops onto you.
Infinite Stratos - I watch this every now and then and is in my dvd case that I carry to and from work. It's a harem series, has some fanservice and nudity, but it's also a bit of fun. The dub isn't bad, but a couple of characters can be annoying.
Linebarrels of Iron - character art by the guy who did Gundam Seed/Destiny, S-cry-ed, Fafner and several others which can be a pain. The characters are annoying and it was set up for a second series which never happened. I'd give this a miss.
Kaze no Stigma - I've lost count on how many times I've replayed the ep "Father & Son" on the way to work. It's a good series, that does have fanservice, but it's a lot less than it could be. The second half of the series gets dark pretty quickly and it sets up for a second series, which unfortunately hasn't happened. It does end well, but there's a lot that can make it worth a second season. Like Infinite Stratos, Strait Jacket and Chrome Shelled Regios, the dvd's are in my portable dvd case.
Strait Jacket - Like Karas, Strait Jacket has the episodes combined to make it movie length, though you can tell when the episode starts and ends. It's quite graphically bloody with people sliced in half, or monsters dragging people ripped in half. I quite enjoyed this as the main characters have their own mental scars and the battle scenes are nicely done. A dark title, but one that I rewatch every couple of weeks or so.
Chrome Shelled Regios - Series is set on a contaminated planet where people live in domed living cities called Regios's. It's a series that I would love to see a second season done, though there's parts of it that has me shaking my head in confusion. There's some fun moments especially involving Felli and though it goes a bit towards the harem side, it's more innocent. Worth getting.
Please Teacher - One of the old MM mods, Matty was a massive fan of this series and it still retains its charm after all these years. Bandai Entertainment did a good job on the dubbing for it. It's a fun, full of misunderstanding and moving series. The main character has a condition that basically sends him into a coma, and his body doesn't age during that time and then you have a half human/half alien female lead who becomes his teacher amongst other things. Definitely worth getting and make sure to get the sequel Please Twins. The main characters in Please Teacher become secondary characters in Please Twins, but it's still worth a watch.
Mahoromatic - It has fanservice, nudity, comedy and some decent battles. It does have a story to it and an ending that while it could've been better, wasn't in the bad category. The manga pretty much ended the same way as the anime. I do love the special though. The guys trying to hide their porno mags and the girls trying to find them. It cracked up laughing a few times from that. I haven't watched in ages, which means I'll have to pull out my R1 boxset of it sometime soon.
DN Angel - ADV did this title and was one of their better ones. I quite enjoyed it, but unfortunately some of the characters have eyes that are almost half the size of their heads. If you get over that, then you'll find yourself enjoying it. There's romance, magic and mystery as the main character has a master thief hidden inside which only a few people know about. That thief is voiced by the guy who does Kurtz Webber in Full Metal Panic which isn't suprising as FMP/Fumoffu was originally an ADV title. It does have a decent ending.
Hope that helps. _________________ Motorcycling - You don't need an excuse to ride, but you need an excuse not to ride.

I know that you've been getting Jormungand, so I won't recomend that series, but I will recomend the following ones.
Kaleido Star inc. New Wings - I call this the anime version of Cirque du Soleil and this is my No.1 title if I remember correctly. It was because of KS, that I went to see Cirque du Soleil when it was in Sydney. The first season is more fun than the second, but it has magic, incredible stunts and is worth a good few rewatches. My avatar is "Fool", one of the main characters of KS. He's bloody funnny.
Heroic Age - character art done by the guy who did Linebarrels of Iron, Gundam SEED, etc. This series is worth getting as the characters are quite good and so too is the action. The ending leaves you questioning what happened at that particular moment. Even now, I wonder and that makes it just that bit more memorable.
Baccano - It's whacked and whacky and the english VA's had a ball doing their roles in this. Ladd Russo at the start of episode 4 is freaking hilarious. I think I have him speaking in the anime quotes thread in General Anime. It's violent, it's funny and there's a lot of characters who could in their own rights be the lead, but there are NO lead characters here. Set in the US in the 1930's.
Afro Samurai - It has Samuel L Jackson playing the lead of Afro Samurai and it's up there on the violence meter. However, it's a title that I don't mind rewatching.
Dai Guard - Only available in R1, this is a real good series where 3 members of the PR department in 21st Century Security Corporation are pilots of the anti-heterodyne robot Dai Guard. It's funny on the business side of things and the previews for each up are up there with the funniest around.
I'll put up a few more later on. _________________ Motorcycling - You don't need an excuse to ride, but you need an excuse not to ride.
