Mega Man? 25th Anniversary of Akira? Jesus, I remember when those things would be announced to the forums months in advance, but I don't even remember seeing them mentioned in a newsletter.

It's the old 90's Ruby Spears produced one. The "Americanized" Mega Man. Looks vaguely like the game character and doesn't follow any of the game story beyond Dr Wily being bad and Dr Light being good, and throwing in weird looking versions of two of the original robot masters from the first game. Protoman being a bad guy, which only held true in one game, yet persisted throughout the cartoon.
It did have a Mega Man X episode which was interesting. Had some good writing throughout the series, horrible puns as was the norm back then, and terrible theme music (Super Fighting Robot...MEGA MAN!!). As a Megaman fan i will be getting it, it's worth it for nostalgia, but after one watch you probably wont go back for a long time.

I wonder if Madman has the licence for Megaman : Upon a Star along with this. An OVA made of three seprate episodes with character designs much closer to the game.

Sad to see that Transformers Armada isnt going to have the original Japanese audio and subs along with the English version. It's finally getting a full release and it's only the edited English dub. Guess i will cross fingers that Shout! will do a duel language version. Super pumped for the Animated sets tho Very Happy

Not going to happen because of the cuts and changes that were made to the dub, plus at least one entire episode was never done.

So, yeah.

Was told that JB-Hifi head office only ordered 100 copies of Blue Exorcist volume 4 and that they stopped individual stores from doing their own ordering. The guy who works at the Liverpool store wasn't happy about that. They can order it for you, but said it will take weeks to arrive. He doesn't know how long this will last.

Just for anyone trying to get copies of anime at present.

No idea why. From the sounds of it, they would've ordered it if they had the choice.

It's not just their store but nation wide.

If you want an anime that hasn't come out yet. Preorder it. Otherwise the store might not get it.
