Most Likely
Flip Flappers Complete Series (Blu-Ray) - Hoping theres a DVD release as well which hasn't been listed yet.
Probable - always wanted to watch brotherhood, but at my current watching rate, 64 episodes is a stretch.

The Heroic Legend of Arslan Season 2 (Blu-Ray)
Is Universal no longer releasing anime? They released the first season of Arslan.
I already have Attack on Titan Movie Collection (Blu-Ray) - is this a repackage? _________________ Nullus Anxietas |

I will admit I was wondering the same thing when I saw the listing.

I thought that was the collection for the anime compilations. Going by the listing, this is for the Live Action movies. _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

Is Flip Flappers being BD only an error? Something to do with the fact that Sentai is pulling out on DVDs? Works fine for me as I pretty much will ONLY buy Blu-Rays, just a curious one. Very excited that it's coming here on BD though, I thought this is one that'd be DVD only and I'd have to import from the US. Also excited that it comes out the same month as the Sailor Moon S BDs.

I think Universal had that and "You Thought There is Never a Girl Online?" solicited recently, maybe they've struck a distribution deal with Madman?
EDIT: Also worth noting that for Arslan at least, looks like the current price point on the b2b website is in line with Universal's standard pricing rather than Madman's. |

Something that occurred to me recently concerning the Sailor Moon DVD season sets. Are they the previous discs repackaged, or are they created from the new HD masters?
I'm assuming the last two seasons will come from the HD masters. _________________ Nullus Anxietas |

Flip Flappers on blu-ray, Madman I love you! <3
I also thought it would be dvd only as it's a little more obscure than many other series, but am very happy! Everyone wondering about it not being on dvd, I believe the B2B info is preliminary so I'm not jumping to any conclusions yet. _________________ CURRENT SETUP: Panasonic Viera TH-L42E30A 42" 1080p LCD HDTV, Sony BDP-S590 Blu-ray Player, Panasonic SC-BTT775 5.1 Surround Sound Home Theater System

Flip Flappers is Blu-ray only in the US. I guess Madman doesn't intend to encode their own DVDs for it. _________________ Nullus Anxietas |

As far as I'm aware, Sailor Moon S has not been solicited on BD in Japan yet, so no idea. The first BD set from Madman looks quite good even though it is an upscale from composite video masters. It's far, far better than the smudgy mess that's Viz's version.
The dub will most likely be the new Viz version. It's unlikely Madman will be able to include the Cloverway version. |

In relation to the Sailor Moon sets, is it just the BD sets that are getting the LE box?
I've bought the LE boxes for the initial DVD release Madman was doing but evidently they've gone back and re-release complete sets for the first seasons again along side the BD releases.
I was hoping to keep to the LE boxes for the last 2 seasons but it appears as though i'll have to switch to the BDs for the sake of consistency, or buy the BD versions of the other seasons to keep it all inline.
Not so much of a complaint but more of a question as i'm trying to not spend money on double dipping where possible. _________________ I am a 100% Belldandy fan and Ah! My Goddess Obsessor! |
