Kind of peculiar that Love Live Sunshine S2 is a Blu-ray only release, and also a standard edition, considering S1 was DVD and BD, and had a BD limited edition.

I'm hoping there's a limited edition release for LLS S2 so that it matches with S1. I don't wan't an inconsistent set.

Hopefully this listing is just a placeholder or else Madman really did themselves by giving us inconsistent sets.

---

Anyways, these are what I'm getting instantly:
Darling in the Franxx Part 1 DVD / Blu-Ray Combo (Limited Edition)
My Hero Academia - The Movie: Two Heroes DVD / Blu-Ray Combo

And these are later purchases, for when I have more money:
Love Live! Sunshine!! Complete Season 2 (Blu-Ray)
Citrus Complete Series DVD / Blu-Ray Combo

Another biggish month for me

Fate/apocrypha Part 2 (Eps 13-25) (Blu-Ray)
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Complete Series + Solid State Society Collection (Blu-Ray)*
Sailor Moon Super S: The Movie (Blu-Ray)

Citrus Complete Series DVD / Blu-Ray Combo*
Darling in the Franxx Part 1 (Eps 1-12) DVD / Blu-Ray Combo*
Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory Complete Series (Blu-Ray)
My Hero Academia - The Movie: Two Heroes DVD / Blu-Ray Combo

Everything with an asterix is a maybe. GitS:SAC is simply a case of double dipping and if it's worth it (maybe). Citrus and Darling in the Franxx... that's a bigger question. I watched both on Crunchyroll and I'm very much of two minds about whether they're worth getting.

Edit: And oh, as for Yamato... I'd get it if I didn't already have the English subtitles Japanese release (and will be getting 2202 when it comes out since the Japanese release didn't have subtitles).

Shame that Re:Zero got pushed back but at least we'll be getting it along with part 2. Looking forward to see how the new masters turn out.

May also pick-up Chaos;Child too.

No, this is correct. The problem is that hardly anyone bought season 1. It's hard to justify the costs to do a limited edition of a second season when not enough people supported the season 1 release. As for ditching DVD, it was a choice between doing only 1 format due to the extra production costs and we decided to stick with BD only.

Fair and logical conclusions I hope.

Dang. Didn't realise season 1 sold so poorly. Makes sense why it's single format standard release. Still sucks that it's inconsistent sets, but oh well, guess I'll live with that

Not Madman, but definitely still an anime release, Umbrella Entertainment will also release Steamboy on DVD and Blu-ray in May.
