No. It's the original ADV version. When JB Hi-fi had their anime sale on recently, I bought quite a few titles and this was one of them. 😁

Got the GitS SAC boxset for $10 second hand at Cex was awesome though.

A lot of new anime to watch, which will mean more posts here.

Finished watching Kino's Journey and it was quite a good series. An old series, but an enjoyable one. The ending was quite surprising.

Currently watching Garo and it isn't bad atm.

Finished watching Garo and I really enjoyed it. I thought that it would be a relatively crap series, but it didn't take long for my opinion on it to change. The characters weren't annoying and the Full Monty ep had me in stitches.

I've now started on Ao Haru Machine gun.

Finished watching Ao Haru Machine Gun and quite liked it. It could've went into the pànty flash scenario, but didn't and it was quite the ride. The last ep is a hoot.

Want another season of it at least.

Almost finished Handa kun and that has been faithfull to the manga and the English dub has been good fun to listen to.

Also despite my aversion to long anime series, I decided to get Inu Yasha and have been watching that as well. At the moment, it's been an enjoyable watch, but I still have a very long road to travel.

Last week I found out SBS On Demand was streaming The Mysterious Cities of Gold season 3. I finished watching season 2 (on Blu-Ray) a couple of weeks ago, so it coincided nicely. Episodes are put up daily (weekdays?) and today was episode 11. From what I can tell, it’s not being aired on an SBS channel.

They also have season 2 but the episodes are expiring in a couple of days.

The Anime that I've watched from my collection this year that I found to be pretty enjoyable were:

The Devil is a Part-Timer

Shiki

No.6

The Tale of Princess Kaguya (Absolutely loved this movie.)

Porco Rosso (Finally got around to watching it, enjoyed it thoroughly.)

Steins;Gate + Movie

As for the others I've watched recently that come to mind...

Lamune

All of the Studio Ghibli films I had on backlog

A Silent Voice (Another great movie that I forgot to add to my list above.)

Deadman Wonderland (I streamed this back when Madman were putting the episodes out on their website. Never got around to finishing the last episode...came back to it years later.)

Overlord S3 (Not a huge Overlord fan. It's still pretty entertaining though.)

The Saga of Tanya the Evil (Didn't really like this series at all)

And finally, the series I'm watching weekly...

One Punch Man S2 (It's okay, definetely not as good as the first season.)

Kimetsu No Yaiba

Black Clover (I really love this series.)

One Piece (I usually let the episodes build up into the 10's & 20's then marathon through them. It's not the same when you catch up and watch the episodes each week.)

It’s aired at 7:12am daily on NRTV.

Do you mean the SBS indigenous TV service NITV? For a while there every time I flicked over to NITV, Mysterious Cities of Gold was on. Such a weird TV station. It has some really good stuff on it like music documentaries on James Brown and other black artists of the era, but also some really old weird stuff dating back to the 1950's they've exhumed from god knows where.

Yeah. NRTV was the local Ten affiliate in the nineties.

let see now I have been playing more game then anime recently but

finished Interview with Monster Girls, I actually really enjoyed this one, made me laugh quite a bit my only thought was the overall story did not seem to go anywhere each episode felt contained and could pretty much watch groups of episodes in almost in any order

finished recovery of an MMO junkie, it was alright not really for me I think I thought it has nice animation and good music

I finished Highschool DxD Hero
uh, more DxD is the way I would describe it, I did like how it pretty much went ignore the existence of 1/2 of season 3 to fix the story line, I found the the new animation style a bit weird at first but quick got over it

I finished the Ancient Magnus Bride I really liked it, felt a bit like a shojo show but still liked it all the same the music was really good, the animation looked really good too and I liked the story line I would like to see another season voice actor i have heard before too in it

now just to finished fate/apocrypha

Nice list. I just recently picked up all of High School DxD myself. Not expecting it to wow me, but I don't mind harems every now and then.

Watched God Eater vols 1 + 2 and found it pretty good. Need more of it as hasn't gotten to its conclusion yet.

Currently watching Full Metal Alchemist after getting the 3 tin boxsets super cheap. 😁😁

Been liking the series after my initial reaction when it first came out was negative.
