Should i wait for the boxset to come out, or should i just continue buying the individual dvds...

I've bought volumes 1 and 2 already, but i'm think about selling them if the boxset is coming out... I prefer to have a series enclosed in a box instead of them out individually. What should i do? O.o

If a boxset does come out, then it will almost certainly come with an option to buy the box separately. So, the choice is - buy the DVDs now and end up paying a higher price overall (but get them sooner), or wait several months until the boxset comes out, and save some cash.

Actually I am a boxset freak. I must watch a whole serie otherwise I`m gonna kill myself, because I have to wait for the next disc. I know Cowboy Bebop is too good to wait once you got hooked, but when you haven`t watched any you can`t get hooked, right?

I can live without a boxset for a little while, but not the show itself, like you say, you get hooked!

PS. Welcome to the boards

We are lucky aren't we?

I love all the extras on Disc 2. That director looks so spaced out..reminds me of a cult leader

Well - in a sense he is! CB he bestowed to the world we are his followers

Ah, words to warm a loan shark's heart (if he had one).

Learn how to cook rice properly, develop a taste for pet grade meat and you'll never have to worry about not having enough money for anime again...

p.s I in no way endorse such habits. I'd eat the raw, still full entrails of a cow before I'd trust what whiskas decides to call "meat".

Its really awful, Manga UK simply doesn't care or listen....At the moment we are compaigning that they change the cover for Death and Rebirth becasue its really crap to the origanl one, but do they listen???...NO!!

The fact I'm importing all my titles from Madman now is surely a sign how bad the market is in the UK. At least here in Australia you have a great company that supports and listens to its fans

yes i do agree, Madman can probably teach A LOT of companies how to go about things, i love the fact that Madman involves the fans (most of the time) whenever they get titles

I'll agree with mR_CaESaR here 100% Madman are one of the few companies I know that acknoledge the fan base and gladly accept all praise and critism. More so, that accept LISTEN to what has been said and occasionally get involved with fans.

I totally agree - its the whole series or nothing for me too! I remember when Bubblegum Crisis and Neon Genesis Evangelion were on SBS, I was taping every episode and watching them only after the series had finished.

Same with most of the anime on CN (Gundam Wing, Zoids, Yu Yu Hakusho)- the only exception to the rule is DBZ

Is there definitely a Cowboy Behop boxset being released in R4?

Since we're on the topic of boxsets, is there a confirmation of whether there will be an Australian Love Hina Box set release? If there is, when?
What other boxsets can we expect from Madman in the future?

Yeah... it's hard to ignore those Bebops sitting on the shelf... but I might wait for the box. I'm the sort of person who loves to watch a whole series consecitively

(Now if I could only stop my hand from involintarily moving towards the DVD shelf everytime I go to the shops...)
It has a life of its own, dang it!

Suffice to say, I'm waiting for the box set

If there was any censorship, it would be CN only. There really isn't much blood in the show.

Hmm... nearly all of my series are either 24 or 25 episodes. Maybe it's just my collection.

I got the cheap Bebops from Kmart in Belmont.... long since sold out. All the other Kmart's I've been to are nearly $30 each.
