Hey everyone, I've deicded to get another anime, I forgot about this in the $10 sale XD

I'm deliberately going to leave this very vague, and I just want to know which anime do you prefer out of GTO and Last Exile.

I enjoy both genres, but I simply want to know which one is more worthy of purchase.

Thanks alot in advance!

I do have both, have seen GTO up to vol 9. Haven't watched a single Last Exile volume yet...All I can tell you is about GTO and simply it is amazing...Very funny laughing out loud but also meaningful not some trash humour...Great series to get...I hope Last Exile is good too...

I would have to say Last Exile, even though I loved GTO.

I think that the ending was done better and it just drew me in.

GTO was fun, but like the manga, the ending wasn't that great.

Great Teacher Onizuka is a quality comedy series, but LastEXILE is a quality drama. I would personally be biased towards the latter, with its awesome soundtrack and visuals. The plot and characters are also superior there. Great Teacher Onizuka is not a bad series, but I do prefer the manga, and it is a little low on my list if I am looking to watch a comedy.

Get both, unless you can't stand dodgy CG, in which case skip out on Last Exile.

Oddly, Last Exile is probably their best work, on the CG front, or a short distance behind yukikaze.

Why in god's name they let Glass Fleet out looking worse that frigging LoGH, I don't know.

Currently leaning towards Last Exile in this case. I'll be eventually getting both some day, but I only have enough for one of the two at the moment o.O So I'm wondering which one to get first. Very Happy

Thanks for the feedback guys Very Happy I'll be picking one of them up tomorrow, so we'll see if GTO can chase up to Last Exile by then.

They're both awsome, but I would get Last Exile first. Second best anime series ever!

I found that Last Exile was a bit dramatic for my tastes even though it has one of my fav VA's in it.

GTO is a very good comedy choice if you dont mind some perverted thoughs by Onizuka, the main character, every so often.

I have only seen GTO. It is very funny, at times it is emotional and it has everything you could want in a series. There are 40 episodes so it takes a while to get through. It might be comming out as a fatpack later on, you might be best to wait for that because it is not cheap.

GTO > Last Exile, although i really liked Last Exile it doesn't hold a candle to the amount of entertainment i got watching GTO.

It all depends on whether you get more enjoyment out of action or comedy. I would choose GTO because I enjoy comedy over action. Last Exile is not exactly what I call action packed anyway.

Action best describes it, but I would not say that it is action packed the whole way through. Do you know what I mean?

If you decide on getting GTO later, JB Hifi have it for cheaper then in the $10 sale. Bought it for $80 a few weeks ago in store. Also online for a similar amount.

Last Exile was on sale too at JB for 2c cheaper than the $10 sale Very Happy Except I went to the JB-hifi in The Galeries Victoria and they didn't have it in stock Crying or Very sad (They said by the time they order it, it won't be on sale anymore)

So I just ordered it online.

If I get $80 somewhere... before the 29th of December (Which is when the sale ends), I'll go grab GTO Very Happy Thanks for telling me.

Getting GTO for $80 is well worth it. I would get it later on if I were you, when it fatpacks it will be perhaps cheaper than that.

Drama would best describe it.
