Well if its a Star Wars cartoon series that has not been shown in Australia, than it can't be Driods or Ewoks since both were shown on channel Ten many many years ago.

Yeah, I suppose it would look really crappy! Although if they brought out a privatized show, and got proper animators...

Rescue Heros used to be little action figures, now they've made it into a cartoon.

btw, what happened today. i turned the TV on and along came... Harry and the Hendersons!

not that I'd rather Rescue Heros anyway...

Over here in NZ we have Sticky TV... a variation on your cheez tv but infinitely worse...
The show is an insult to DBZ. It's aimed at what, five year olds? The humour consists entirely of jokes about bodily functions, and at the end of each day some kid gets "pooped" (lots of brown lumpy liquid) dumped upon them from on high). The hosts are inane freaks and should be shot.
God, I liked it better when DBZ was standalone at 4.30pm.
In Oz do they show the cut or uncut versions (cut I'm guessing)? The cuts make absolutely no sense. Apparently, it was okay to show Piccolo dismembering Babidi, but it cut out Vegeta sucker punching Goten and Trunks (which was integral to the storyline - Vegeta not wanting them to see... well you know.) People are shown exploding and stuff, and then it cuts out a kick or punch! Come on! The worst cut so far was on Namek with Frieza getting sliced, and then they showed the whole scene in a flashback in Buu saga

Please tell me you're joking. The Tick is one of the funniest shows ever. So is Earthworm Jim.

I found an old video this morning that I taped episodes of The Tick and Spider-Man on. Wheeeeeee!

I agree, Wildcats was a short, interesting and very good series.
Cheez TV are still showing DragonBallZ season one repeats at 7:30AM every weekday and I expect new DragonBallZ episodes will be shown about February 2003.

Cheez TV won't be showing Frieza saga, the DragonBallZ season one repeats will be followed by DragonBallZ season 4 repeats.

I would watch Cheez more often if they had more quality shows, DBZ repeats and crappy pokemon(no offense little kiddies) just doesn't cut it anymore. Gundam is one good way to go.

Gundam Wing won't be replacing Sailor Moon!
Sailor Moon will be replaced by rest of Spiderman Unlimited repeats (The DragonBallZ repeats will change to every weekday) and than by Spongebob Squarepants. If you want more detailed information than check http://members.optushome.com.au/veemon/cheeztv.html which is always up to date.
At the moment, it seems unlikely we will see Gundam Wing on Cheez TV at all due to episodes been rated PG.

My Cheez TV opinions:
1. Earthworm Jim was awesome. The cows, the Haggis, the candy corn, Evil the Cat, the canine-specific transdimensional vacuum cleaner portals... I loved Earthworm Jim. The Tick was good too, but Jim was funnier.
2. Pokemon is a typically happy and intelligence insulting kiddy cartoon. James is cool though, he laughs like a constepated horse: Nyehehehehe!. *Ahem* Still, Cheez TV is for the kiddies I suppose.
3. Ryan has to be one of the worst TV hosts ever. He's right up there with Kim Kilby (or Philby, I dunno) and Tim Ferguson. He acts rude and unnatural quite often, and I've even seen one of the guests hit back at him once when he was being annoying. Jade's a bit better but they're both boring and incompetent. It's funny that Mark the sound man makes a better host than either of them, and he's not even on screen.
4. Regardless of Cheez TV's pure dodginess, it's still the only way a non-cable Aussie can see DBZ, even if it has been cut to pieces...

i thought most of dbz's eps were pg and they are shown. even some of the tame eps and movies are pg. some eps are just talk and they get rated pg.

That is true, Cheez TV often makes additional edits to DragonBallZ episodes though but I'm not sure about Digimon. Are the TV and video/DVD regulations for ratings the same ? it would help if we knew the exact regulations for what is allowed and what is now allowed in a G timeslot on TV.

Ah, Samurai Pizza Cats. I remember that show well.

Good luck in getting it repeated. That show was great, but its owned by SABAN, the worst company to own anime. As far as I know they only broadcasted the show on TV, they never released it on tape. They are HORRIBLE at releasing anime. The only way you will see it is if you know someone who taped it, or encoded the taped versions of it. SABAN will not release it.

Damn SABAN should sell the rights off.

For all the good it will do -

Ummmm.... yes they did... at least in NZ anyway. When Frieza gets sliced by his own kienzan discs on Namek, the ep was totally cut to sh*t, so that you saw minimal amounts of Frieza's dismembered parts. But then later on when Vegeta is spieling off at Goku in Buu saga he recounts how Goku shamed Frieza and it showed Frieza getting sliced. CN play the uncut eps all the time I think (don't have Sky TV so I'm not sure). I don't know how badly eps are cut over in Oz, but I assumed that it was pretty much the same as over here. If you get some eps uncut, then good for you.

Why does everyone hate Pokemon? It isn't that bad! God! Kojiro and Musashi are great characters and on a whole the show is fun. Don't take everything so seriously...

They aren't putting Gundam Wing on?!!!!!!! WTF?! Who care's if it's friggin P-god damn-G! We have to put up wit Sponge Bob. I'd rather have more Sailor Moon! And Sider-man Unlimited was an insult to the name of Spider-man (so was the clone saga but that's another story! ). Bring back Teknoman! Samurai Pizza Cat's (actually put that on for the first time on channel Ten)! Earthworm Jim! The Tick! X-men! And kill Jade and Ryan! Please put them out of there misery!

*ahem* Sorry about that... I got a little angry... But Cheez TV's time has come. Let it die Channel 10...
