lol, i've been enjoying that arc, although I haven't seen past ep240, at first I just didn't have it now I just haven't gotten around to watching it, should be interesting to see as of what i've seen I thought the animation has been quite good all round

Quote for truth. The fight between Byakuya and Kouga was a thing of beauty. I haven't seen such awesome choreography in Bleach other than in Fade to Black. Makes me want to check the movie's animation staff vs that episode in particular.

really? it was better than when Hollow Ichigo fought the Zanpaktou guy? I always love HI's fights as he always uses Zangetsu properly, something Ichigo has yet to truly achieve imo but even among his fights that particular fight was above all else

One question do you ever see Yachiru's Shikai? or even have a name for her Zanpakuto?

so far, nothing has been given regarding her shikai or even it's name.

it's just one of those things. Like Nanao's zanpakuto.

urgh, i was hoping that the Ichigo Ulq fight would happen after this arc, but nooo, another filler arc is coming afterwards. I only watch Bleach now to see the manga played out.

Anyone up for counting the ratio of filler eps, I'm thinking its probably 50:50 at this stage, damn ridiculous.

Tbh, the last arc was actually quite good. Had a great story, a twist at the end n everything. Cept because it's filler, you're all "HURRR FILLER SUX GIEF MANGA STORY KTHX"

The story was ok, but I reckon it went downhill towards the middle.

Yes we're all like that, well ones who read the manga, cause the ichigo ulq fight was awesome, and I am personally anticipating seeing the full battle animated.

So sorry if I'm fustrated/annoyed.

I read the manga and quite enjoyed all of the last filler arc, well I haven't seen the last 2 eps yet, there will be lots of fillers otherwise they will catch right up to the manga and then have nothing to do but if they make quality fillers there shouldn't be any problem, I mean of those who read the manga at least we already know what happens next

Should I skip the Filler Arc after Hueco Mundo? Alot of people are telling me it is worse then The Bount Arc.

Which one? The Hueco Mundo/Arrancar arc has to date been interspersed with two filler arcs. The Captain Amagai arc (which was really so-so) and the current Zanpakuto Rebellion arc which has segued into the new Beast Swords arc (The two have been placed back to back without returning to the main story). The current one has its moments and episode 252 makes it all worth it. Quite possibly the best fight scene animated to date with animation almost equal to the movies.

what about the first Ichigo vs Grimmjow fight? that was sick Smile

can't say about the Amagai arc as I haven't seen it yet, you can skip it easily though as it doesn't mess with the non filler plot like Bount Arc does

Not even close. You have to go to the movies to find anything of a similar level and I'd still put it above anything in Memories of Nobody and the Diamond Dust rebellion. It helps of course that it was Byakuya who actually has one of the widest and most versatile range of abilities displayed to date.

But otherwise agreed. The Captain Amagai arc is quite easily skipped.

The captain amagai arc could have done a lot better if they removed that stupid F*cking princess out of the equation.

A new captain and a plan to assassinate one of the head guys in soul society? Sounds good.

A new captain, a plan to assassinate one of the head guys of soul society, wrapped around the story of a whiny little **** princess who runs away to the real world because "i'm a princess and i do what i want".... not so much.

the problem I have with that fight is that only a small part of it was awesome, the rest was pretty standard imo however the entire Ichigo vs Grimmjow fight was at a near movie quality level

..... HAHA OH WOW.

MOST EPIC TROLLING OF A FANBASE EVER. KUBO TITE IS THE MAN.

No Wonder we're in filler still, given what's just happened in the manga. i wouldn't want a team to be animating without somewhat of a point to aim towards. And that point was just delivered.

please, don't discuss or even spoiler tag what happened, it's enough to make people cry.

soz but I don't exactly follow Confused if you mean that you wouldn't want them to get in the middle of the big fight only to jump back into filler then I agree, or do you mean so the animation team knows what happens and what's at stake? like raise excitement in the animation team or something

also how was he trolling?

the whole "YES ITS THE EPIC FINAL BATTLE AGAINST AIZEN LETS DO IT YEAHHH" build up in the manga, only go to "HAHA LOL NOT REALLY" at the end of it all.

and yeah, the second bit, i'd rather have an animation team that knows whats at stake, what happens, and how to push things in that direction subtly, than one who's only got half a story to work with and doesn't know how it'll end.

but the fight isn't over yet! waiting for Yamamoto to jump in Laughing and we also have Kensei's fight that's happening somewhere nearby

but on top of needing more material I think partly they realized they were onto something good with the Zanpaktou Rebellion fillers so they wanna keep going with it

I got to say though i'm confused over the latest chapter when did Hinamori and Aizen switch places? that whole thing confuses me a bit Confused

goddammit don't put it in spoilers, don't put it anywhere!

also, it's aizen, he coulda done it whenever he damn well wanted to. Given the nature of his powers, it coulda been as he left Soul society. who's to know.

well that's why I asked, I didn't know if I just missed it (one panel seemed to hint at something) or if it was meant to be ambiguous, also I tried keeping my comments vague but I don't see the issue if it's in spoiler tags

Exe3 you do have the habit of reading spoiler tags don't you.
You got caught big time in the manga thread and said "I shouldn't have read that" which was clearly a spoiler tag.

Hey Exe3 can you resist this => I told you NOT to read this.

You read it didn't you...

I make a habit now of not reading spoiler tags unless mention somthing I have seen.
But if you do put spoiler tags put something like.

eg. Don't read this unless you have read volume # before the spoiler tags to give people an idea what part your talking about.

Some people put spoiler tags in the worst places.

Well take it easy and don't shoot ya self in the foot. Smile
I have to admit people put spoiler tags in wrong places making you go "why the hell did I read that"

Right now I not gonna bother reading future events of Bleach since it's best to find by reading manga.

Though fillers I'm not too sure about if I want to hear about it since there are mixed reviews of them.

What do you think is the most surprising and/or shocking twist(s) on Bleach?

For me...for now...my pick is near the end of Soul Society (The Rescue), where Capt. Aizen reveals that he was playing a long game, that is, he arranged stuff so he could be close to Rukia, maybe the part where his own clone was killed off, and yes, he did kill a lot of people and nearly canceled Momo Hinamori's 'timeslot' twice. And some other bad stuff, before he took two other people with him to outside the Soul Society.

Well your about 11 volumes behind me as I'm up to 32 but at least your collecting them.
As for anime well it depends in which seasons your into as I tend to find the first 3 seasons my favourite and don't like filler arcs eg bount arc if you know what I mean so I skip them.

But that's the thing about Bleach you can collect at any stage of the story even if you missed a bit you can easily follow it later.
