R31 series 2 skyline (88 model). Everything stock bar the stereo. still needs a bit of work done to it (mainly needs an auto trans service, and theres a bit of rust that might need to be cut out). Unfortunately, the bumpers are banged up from the previous owner. As for mods, well, i'd like to put some wheels on it, lower it, and drop an RB25DET in it, but i'll probably just save that money towards the next car.

1985 Maza 626 XD Tough as goddamn nails, short of being totalled, I don't think anything could ever stop my car from working.

Current plans are to get my hands on a 180sx towards the end of the year after I finish my course and eventually get the Strawberry face (S15 nose) conversion done because it's like the collest thing in the world <3 We'll wait and see how it goes.

1997 VT Commodore, Green.

I plan on adding a spoiler to the boot and changing my rims from 15 inch to 17 inch. I may even get some of those clear tail lights that seem to be the fashion at the moment.

The all mighty Mazda 121, bow down to the burnout machine. Its fulsik stereo gives it the power to blow V8s off the lights. Honest to god bro.

Use to own a

Series 4 Rx7 aka FC in white of course.

That was the last pic I took of it before it went to the shops to get some major work done. By the end of it all the thing has a stupid amount of power which made wet weather driving bloody impossible. So as I hit boost, the wheels would skid as I would loose traction.

Sold it with plans to either buy a Gen1 MZ20 Toyota Soarer or a BMW E30 325i originally intended to buy a AE86 however I waiting for the whole Initial D craze to die down a little before dipping back into the AE86 market as it is right now these cars are way too inflated.

Since we're talking about cars we're going to get in the future. I'm going to get a 180SX by the end of this year but that plan may be scraped if the P plater restrictions come to pass.

Can't you just get a non-turbo model then? I saw a hot pink 180 and i had a close look but i didnt see the intercooler.

Well for the future you ask? I have my sights set on an s13....i have no idea why, its not even that popular, but unless someone convinces me not to get one, i won't. An example of the silvia i want is down the road from me...its pretty much stock but has some half-decent wheels a shabbly looking bodykit one of those huge mufflers. But if i really had the cash i'd go for a sileighty, the one where you make the front-end mods yourself and make it look like the C-course from the Inital D arcade game. I think i dream too much Confused

This was originally on loan to me to 'test it', now i have an extended period looking after it and it certainly will decide whether i want one or not, and time to research what i can mod it with and whether or not to go for the 300 (which essentially has a very similar engine to the some of the Soarers).

And i don't believe i'll be going with this colour, though it matches mum's Harrier Very HappyVery Happy

180SX's (infact, most turbo cars other than performance specials like an FPV Typhoon) don't have a front mounted intercooler standard. They have a small one off to the right hand side of the engine bay (assuming you're looking at the front of the car). Nearly every one on the streets nowdays has a front mounted because it's a (relatively) cheap way of looking cool and getting a bit more power. Similarly, cars with bonnet scoops (WRX, FC..) have a top mounted intercooler as standard.

I'm pretty sure they didn't release SR20DE 180SXs, anyway. ^^;

As far as i'm aware all 180s are turbo. S13s can come in non turbo, though. And the base xr6T has a front mount, too Smile

And preggers, i have NFI what that car is.

I got me a Lancer CG (2002 model VR-X)
Current mods go as far as a cannon muffler and a pretty decent stereo system... Even if the head unit is off to clarion to fix a fault RCA...

I have alot of plans for this car
some kinda cosmetics (bodykit, 17's MAYBE lower it a bit)

If I had the money and the resoruces I'd like to drop an evo 8 halfcut in her...
a man can dream Razz

Well, right now I'm rebuilding a '69 VW Beetle.

Got it for $600(more rust and bog than I've ever seen on a car), but I've spent more than $2500 on parts. New fenders, heater system, all the seals, 15" alloy rims(classic look):

new tyres, new muffler, chrome parts, carpet, vinyl, sports steering wheel, etc., it all adds up.

And I found out that it's a 1.2L engine, not 1.5, as I was told.Evil or Very Mad

But when it's done, it'll have some serious class.Cool

You should talk to a guy named MrWaffle from around here. He drives a beetle aswell. He'd probably marry a beetle if he could.

dude, I'd advise against the King springs...
I've heard bad reports about them saggin over time, you might do better to pay a little more for more reliable springs
otherwise, nice car

For one in that price range, make sure you save some money to replace the front driveshafts, fix the rattly valves and rebuild the gearbox. Insurance on top of that will keep you eating ricecakes and ramen for a while...

Yeah gotta agree with that. Well i'm not sure about the gearbox, but depending on the years they're usualy fairly reliable, alot of people dont like em i didnt have any trouble.

Make sure you can afford this before you jump into it mate, i jumped into an 04 WRX and came out crying, luckily i had a family friend over 25 who was willing to take it off my hands.

thanks for your concern but i already have about $15000 (which i plan to use most of as a depsoit on the car) saved up so that plus my loan, the price range that i can buy in is the $32000-$35000.

also, i am looking at getting a MY99/00 model so it will only be 4-5 years old at the most (& between 60k-80k kms)

in the whole time that my dad has had his WRX (MY01 model) he has never had any problems what so ever. even with the "extras"
that he has now. i beleave the subraru's to be really tough & reliable. we know the mechcanic that does after market work & the only problems that he incounters is stupid drivers (ie. people repeatedly doing 6500rpm launches & wondering why the gearbox/diffs are stuffed, doing 250kms/hr pretty much all the way down to Brisbane from Townsville right after a 2.5 litre engine conversion etc, etc,)

rest asured that i have thought of everthing guys!!
i've been waiting 2 years & nobody's gonna stop me now!<3

Yeah. MY04 WRX's are total poverty-pack bombs. I mean, every bum on the dole who lives in government housing drives one...

Don't make me cry Sad
