Every phone on the market supports SMS now. If you want a camera phone to take videos, you need to confirm it, not all do.

With the prepaid, basically you buy the phone, and then buy "refills" for it... every time you use the phone it deducts it from the phones credit, and when that is empty you need to buy more (the refill gives you instructions on how to do it).

You're getting it for free? Don't complain.

if you want a phone with all the flashy gizmos and gadgets, check out 3.

if you want a phone company that actually offers service, don't go to telstra Razz

pre-paid is probably the best option, until you start having to recharge 4 or more times a month... then go to a plan Very Happy

in all, it's up to you really

and to answer the photo/video question...

if the phone has a camera, it can take photos, and recieve photos, whether it has video, is really just a matter of looking at the specs. (most phones can recieve video now anyway)

Whatever happened to a phone that was used as a phone? Alot of phones these days are used for alot of other things before they are actually used to ring someone.

I know! I've had the same phone for four years now and it works fine just as a phone, and it doesn't look daggy. Razz

Agreed. I must be one of the very few people left on the planet who doesn't want a camera in a mobile phone.

Soon, every phone will have a 1+ megapixel camera. At first, they weren't so good. But if you can get digital camera quality pictures which just your mobile phone, then you can see the convienience of it.

The only thing I would use a camera for on a phone is to take pics of anime stuff to use as wallpapers ... and maybe nude pics of my girlfriend... Shocked
