here's a tip for you, don't try too hard. most girls don't like guys that are too pushy. just be her friend first and see how it goes from there.
i can tell you i had crushes on a few guys and in the end we were better off as friends than lovers.
you never know, she could be the one for you.

Yeah, something like $80 for the special edition DVD when I was there when it was released.

I'm always for an anime that has Hitler, but not like he's a good guy, just as a "huh, nazi alchemists"

Oh, GUESS WHAT!!

Apparently there's a movie book where they have pics and info about the characters that will appear in the movie (duh!!)

They do this kinda thing alot in the western world (eg Harry Potter)

Anyways, there is a point:
I found some pics (see link below) on the book, but it appears only to be in Japanese. The pics are kinda dodgy coz they were taken with a digital cam rather then scanned.

I think the books also have some info on the Japanese Voice Artists and how they made the movie, you know, the usual.

So enjoy!! Smile

I've seen the movie and I must say for all those people who have yet to see it, I FRICKIN LOVED IT!

But you either like it or hate it- thats the impression I get from a lot of people who see it.
I however really liked it and thought it to be a great conclusion.

Theres rumours about a second movie, although BONES said there wont be one, but in the movie there is a possible continuation for a second movie.
I really hope they make another!

And... its always best in the japanese language. Romi Paku's voice... yum!

go ask a question like that on a place like FM_alchemist on LJ and you'll see why Razz

EDIT: also the movie doesnt leave room really for another series, you'll see why once you see the movie, if you havent already.

Basically the series is 51 eps, 1 movie and then 4 OVAS.
thats it!

Its only my hope, and the hope of others, as well as the slight probability of a second movie for gaining more money, that spurs the 2nd movie idea.

Anime that is released directly to video tape (or dvd) without having been broadcast on television is referred to in Japan as an Original Video Animation or OVA. Westerners will often transpose the letters to "OAV" but the meaning remains the same.

OVA's can be any size. Mostly between 30-50 minutes. Wait are these the 4 extra OVA's which include the chibi F.M.A. and the congratulations party? Or are these OVA's which continue the story?

Theres 51 eps, the reflections one cant be counted as an episode- it was just talking and ep pieces thrown together.

The FMA OVA's have hardly anything to do with any continuation.

There are 4
a chibi one
a kids one
a real-life alphonse one
and finally a military one

They are all quite cute and the only one which has any continuation really is the kids one, which is MY FAV!

They seriously wont do another series after the movie. BONES has said thats it for everything- no more FMA. and the OVA 'kids' really inforces this.

I would like another movie though, and there is some parts in the first movie which are hinted at a second movie. Really, they put those bits in just incase they wish to do another movie and can keep the plot going.

Today when I was at supanova, there was a seminar where you could talk to Mike McFarland, one of the ADR Directors of FMA (Hawkeye is the other director, but i can't remember her real name off the top of my head Embarassed ) and the voice behind Jean Havoc. Anyways, we could ask questions, so I asked him when production was due to start on the FMA movie dub (he's directing the movie), and it turns out that it was completed on the day he flew out here to Australia!!!

He said it was awesome working on it!!
