You mean Nina Tucker. I hated her English voice.

And Armstrong wouldn't be Armstrong without the sparkles.

Oh, definitely. I also think the manga handled that whole "arc" rather well. That, and you didn't have that god awful voice so you actually cared for her.

So then why on earth did he make her into a speaking chimera? Sounds like very bad logic on his part. =P

Not really, he still got rid of the annoying voice. And because she was part dog that'd make her really obedient, so if she was told to shut up, she would.

Long time no see RJ.

Her voice changed and I'm guessing he knew that would happen which is why he did it. Razz

Seriously though, the anime made me care more for the dog, Alexander, than it did for Nina.

DARTH TALLIS: Hmmm... I see an advantage.

Darth Tallis begins to imagine himself with extendo fingers. He see' himself sitting in a lounge chair. Suddenly feeling thirsty, he extends his fingers out to the kitchen behind him to grab a drink. However, choosing not to turn his head to see what he is doing due to excessive laziness, he fails to take notice of the...

CAT: MEEEEOOWWW...!!

DARTH TALLIS: Eh?

Darth Tallis lifts his head and looks over his shoulder to see...

DARTH TALLIS: Ooooh. Sorry, Kitty! At least I won't have to pay to have that done now. Anyway,... I suppose Winry. Felt for her at the end of the movie.

CAT: MREEEEEOOOOOWWW...!!!

SLASH
SLASH
SLASH

The cat jumps up begins slashing away at Darth Tallis.

DARTH TALLIS: OH, ****!! WASN'T I IMAGINING THIS?!!

CAT: MREEEEEOOOOOOWWWW...!!

SLASH

DARTH TALLIS: OH, GOD!! MY IMAGINATION HURTS!! AAAAAA...!!!

I don't really have anything against Noah and (German) Alfonse. I guess I kind of knew why they did what they did, and why they went about it the way they did.

Not a lot of love for Wrath I see. He's my favourite. Those middle eps where you discover his connection with Ed are fantastic. And not to mention his end vs Gluttony in the movie.

Second would be Armstrong, sparkles and all.

I liked wrath really only at the very end and in the movie. Otherwise all I felt was a distict want to nail his gizzards to the nearest tree and let the hawks take care of the rest.

Ling.

And yeah, all the manga-only characters are cool. I wish they'd gotten into the anime version.... I would have *loved* them to at least get a cameo in the chibi OAV.

That's the one!

Yeah, it'd have been awesome if the anime contained some of the manga-only characters or used the manga versions of the characters instead of the way they were in the anime.

Towards the end, the brothers became my favourite, because of the strong bond they shared that allowed them to go to such great lengths for each other. I have an older brother, but I can't say I'm that close to him. I guess it's envy that brought about my choice.

Gluttony was awesome, I think he was probably my favourite! Greed was pretty good as well.

Of the humans, Winry kicks butt! I also had a bit of a soft spot for Havoc.

Well....

I do have a soft spot for Envy, even though by all rights I should be running and screaming...

I like Ed, but he gets a bit annoying occasionally.

Al is cool. I like Al. Although, watching the first episodes of the original anime, it was really jarring at first to hear such a high voice coming out of a seven-foot-tall suit of armour. Sounds more natural now, though.

Aaand I have to say that I do like Roy.

And Pinako. Pinako was kinda cool.
