Honestly, I'm not that interested in a non-canon FMA game.

So far the two FMA games out for the PS2 have got bad reviews and so forth but I will still likely play them...

...a third FMA PS2 game is being made I think...

There is also a GBA FMA game and a DS game as well - the good thing about handheld consoles is that you can import and play the games on them without having to chip them Wink

I really want the DS FMA: Dual Sympathy/Symphony something like that.

(can't wait to draw transmutation circles)

I wasn't too fond of Dual Sympathy. It was a pretty mediocre, got terribly repetitive to the part where I gave up (for those playing at home I stopped playing at the part where you challenge Roy), I admit it's a scrolling beat em up so it is to be expected, but when you compare it to say the classic Capcom ones (in my books still the best) it really falls short of being any fun.

Oh and drawing transmutation circles with the stylus, I only recall having to do it a few times to open a door to the next room, doing transmutations when fighting I don't recall (haven't played it for quite a while) having to draw anything however when you do a transmutation attack you get a nice short full motion video of Ed or Al (depending).

Don't let me put you off getting it, I mean I didn't play this game to the end, I mean there could of been a chance it gets better.

Like I said I didn't get terribly far into the game, but from what I played it follows very closely to the series. You start off in Lior and meet Cornello and fight his chimera. Next level is the train hijack. And after that is the challenge against Roy Mustang and well that's as far as I got before I lost interest. Rolling Eyes

My mum makes fun of me because I play games so much and she won't even watch any of my anime. Although I was almost able to talk her into watching Appleseed...

XD My mum sometimes plays the video games - she just doesn't know how to turn them on and stuff. But she sometimes does play them, well use to.

^_^: And, she doesn't mind watching some anime with me. SHe LOVED Neon Genises Evangelion. And I forced Wayne [Dad] to watch Kyo Kara Maoh Vol4. XD!!

The kinda have no choice. Lol.

I saw the first episode and thought it was pretty good...

It only has light shounen-ai references as well so it's not bad in that department...

The fights are a bit annoying though - they are just oil-painted pics moving around most of the time V_V

It's be easier getting it imported...

Square-Enix are actually quite good with their PAL releases in my opinion. They may take a while but they are all quality releases...

The FMA games haven't been well recieved anywhere so I doubt Square-Enix would shell out the money on a product that won't sell...

I would definately buy them if they did ever get a PAL release though - the DS one you could get imported now as handheld games don't have regions...
