A 350Z is good as long as it's not the convertible version. I hate convertibles.

any car with a working transmission, a good motor and gearbox and 4 good tires does me, as long as i can get behind a steering wheel and drive and it gets me from point a. to point b. it's ok by me...

as for fantasy car, something that has over 1000hp pulling power does me or any exotic car you can name...

as for that link for the pink car, i'd think if you wanted it to stand like a sore thumb, fluro pink would be the way to do it...

Dreams of Corvette Stingrays aside, my first real car aside from something to get around in once I bother to get my license will probably be an RX-8, because it's neat - though my girlfriend is a big fan of the Holden Clubsport too. I could go either way.
I don't care much for power or country of origin, I just like nice lines on a car. The two exceptions amongst cars I like are the Holden Kingswood and the Holden Torana Sunbird - the cars my grandfather and father had, respectively, when I became old enough to recognise/notice car makes and models. Both kind of fugly but I'm terribly sentimental.
I actually plan to buy an old Sunbird in the next few years and restore it as a gift for my father - I better get a move on though, he's 56.

Mmm yes, 4.1 Litres and one of the worst auto gearboxes ever.

Kermi, if you're looking into a Clubsport, have you checked out the SV6000, over the R8? Looks good [for a Holden], way better features than anything else HSV.

Only 100 made though, so no idea how available one is, and at 80k, probably better things for the money...

I grew up with a HJ Kingswood. Man, that thing could go.

It had the HZ steering mechanism though, so it was also capable of turning a corner, unlike most other Kingswoods.

Haroldo's right about the auto gearbox though.

The PPG Dodge M4S Turbo Interceptor

The car in the movie "The Wraith"
The car charlie sheen drove as the wraith

In the movie Charlie Sheen's character is resurrection as the wraith with a Turbo Interceptor and drag races the ones who killed him for there souls

The movie is like Devine intervention cross with Ghost rider.
So he races for their souls so he can live again.

But I love the car chases in this movie and love the car

The ONLY ONE IN EXISTENCE

The car is black with a purplish tint I might add if you seen the film but these images are hard to tell with the purplish tint in it.

I hope the images are good enough to convince you.

but this is MY FAVOURITE CAR it rocks.

The movie may have modified the sound of the car...but it's hard to say what the engine sounds like or how powerful it really is since it was made for the movie...but Im sure it is fast.

This car is prototype by Dodge and PPG so it is really hard to say how much about this car since you don't know how much is stock or home made modification but it does sure is a VERY RARE CAR INDEED.

But sure is a rare modified one and only car and very hard to look up on the internet since it really only exists in the movie

Notes from other websites about the car:
Apparently is has 190+mph
Although about a dozen were produced, the only one in existence sits I believe at the PPG Motors hdqtrs located in Pitt., PA. The car is worth an estimated 1.5 million dollars.

more info:

Dodge Turbo Interceptor is in storage at the Walter P. Chrysler museum (Derek Beland). The pace car was built by Chrysler and PPG for $1.5 million, and six additional copies were made for the movie filmed in 1986 outside of Tuscon, Arizona, starring Charlie Sheen and Nick Cassavettes.

The car was rear wheel drive, with the basic 2.2 block topped by a Cosworth 16 valve, dual-cam head and fed by Bosch fuel injection with twin turbochargers (John Abram Cargo). Road & Track claimed 440 horsepower, 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, and a 12.9 second quarter mile; the mid-engine design was loosely Daytona-based.

Four still exist; one is at PPG headquarters, one is in a museum. A kit car with the same basic look was made for a while, using a different engine. It was shown at the 1986 Chicago Car Show. Reportedly, a 600 horsepower engine was installed in one copy.

Well there you go.

hehe, was the seats low enough for you to cower down so that no one could see you and drive at the same time? Razz and what the hell is that car in the picture you posted? looks quite interesting.

also, the Fiat 500 voted the sexiest car by Top Gear? Confused i mean, it's a great little car for its time but just because it's italian doesn't mean it's automatically sexy. (im italian and i'm not automatically sexy Razz )

That little compy made me fall in love with the Mitsubishi Starion (I'd never actually seen one before - I needed a change of underwear and some tissues after seeing it painted white, red and blue like that. Embarassed ).

Before the guy told us what it was I thought he'd gone out and bought a Porsche 944... for under 1500 quid. Laughing

That episode owned. Just wait until the later ones, though. Like zorella said, the boat/cars challenge is one of the most hilarious things Top Gear has ever done.

It's the Bugatti Veyron, it has 16 cylinders, 4 turbochargers, 10 radiators and puts out 1001 horsepower. 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds.

However, it weighs 1800kg, and Bugatti sell them for about 1 million euros each (and even then they were losing 5 million on each one they sold, according to Top Gear.)

Tiger Mica is just the colour of the paint. It became popular around the same time that the VT Commodore launched and has remained a mainstay since. The limited edition Monaro CVZ (the last production model Monaro) was only available in Tiger Mica and looked pretty special! Cool

Only the VT came in Tiger Mica. They dropped the colour for the VY series, replacing it with a colour my Dad (who sells automotive paint to panel shops for a living) refers to as "baby pooh green".

If you see a VY or later Commodore (not the aforementioned Monaro) in Tiger Mica, it's been repainted.

Hey Stormin... Can you ask your Dad what the name of the colour of my car is? It's a VY commodore that is kind of Grey. The paint code is 897K but it doesn't say what the actual colour is. It would be cool to be able to tell people the actual colour! Cool

You're forgetting the radiator for the back wing.

He says it's called "Turbine" and that it's a pig of a colour to mix.

The version on the Crewman ute and later models uses a different formula, apparently.

Too be honest that car looks ugly.

Lose 5 million on each one....gee I wonder why....probably no one would want to buy that car for 1 million euros.

Bugatti Veyron ...haven't heard of it.

Well I like the turbo Interceptor better even though it's a 1984 model or something the car is CUSTOM made so it is very rare but was a great car of it's time.

Compare to cars today YEAH they maybe faster because of new improvements to cars today like achieveing 1000 horsepower....but thats like SUCKING up FUEL in like 3 second drag race.

1000 horsepower IS COOL but do you REALLY need that much power...maybe for racing yeah but crusing around wouldn't do you much good but the cost of petrol would kill ya.

But for a dream car the Turbo Interceptor probably is my fav.

I also being noticing the Aston Martin DB9....the size of the front is HUGE it must have a BIG engine since the front of the car and bonnet is very long.

The DB9 is a very long car but getting quite popular.

If you played the game Need for Speed Most wanted you can play the game with most of the top cars that are out today like:

1. BMW M3 GTR
2. Aston Martin DB9
3. Lamborgini Gallardo plus another one I can't remeber it's name Muri**lgo or something (I have to play the game to get the spelling)
4. Dodge Viper (Model have to look it up)
5. Corvette C6
6. Ford GT
7. Plus a few Porches like Cayman SS
8. plus a Mercedes benz (model number have to look it up)

Well anyway the cars in that game are the most popular models so far to date but what amazes me it that each of those car are real cars and some can be bought depending on what country and city you live in that actually stocks those cars....Since it would be illegal to own a car thats faster than a cop car since you can easily out run them.

I believe the DB9 has a V12 motor, like all good sports cars should.

I have no idea what you're getting at here. You're wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start.

If you can afford to build a car that powerful how much fuel it uses is the least of your problems. And no-one's doing chap laps with 760+ kW under the bonnet anyway.[/quote]

6L v12, in case you were wondering.

No way. Get out.

Again, I'm lost for words. Surely you jest.

Of course. Clearly there is nothing on the road that goes faster than SS commodores with the speed governor removed. And if there was, they'd be a law somewhere against it that you could refer to.

FFS, use kilowatts, I'm sick of this horsepower ****. gagagoogoo learn something about real cars and tuning instead of spouting what you learned on GT4. And don't even start on NFS.

What's wrong with horsepower? Just multiply a bhp figure with 0.745, and you have its equivalent in kW. And what do you mean, real cars? All the cars he's mentioned are real, aren't they? :/

Edit: After re-reading the post you're replying to, Haroldo... Laughing I can see why you're not happy. Razz

Yeah, i really think we should use kilowatts too, but everything i read says HP (mostly on car websites) and i cant be stuffed converting. The magazines and internets themselves are the ones to blame, not me.
