DO NOT CONTINUE READING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPOIL FUTURE COVER ARTS FOR DVD'S UNRELEASED YET.

I seem to be doing this a lot lately for random Anime series that are either just coming out, or that are already out just a new volume is released. For those who don't know I have a tendency to find out what the future cover art for some of Madman's Anime DVD's will be before it is 100% publicly visible. So I've decided to make a thread and post all that I find.

It should also be noted that these are not the final decisions to cover art just possible covers, but definately R4 Madman DVD's (not PhotoShopped). All should wait for Madman's official release to find out what the final covers for that particular DVD will look like.

Enjoy! Very Happy

PS. finding these pictures are quite simple as its just the alteration of a URL.
If this in any way disappoints Madman Entertainment please lock or delete this thread. In no way is this intended to upset or spoil Madman's intentions for future release DVD's. All information and pictures found are viewable to the public if the URL is a known address. Thanks.

I know about the double post. I wanted to keep general information separate from the content.

Code Geass:

xxxHolic:

Naruto:

That's all for now.

Code Geass are individuals, says on the naruto cover 3 disc set =p Looks like XXXholic is individual as well.

Black backgrounds for Geass? kinda make it look a bit plain IMO

I thought the black background for Code Geass is actually pretty hawt! It looks really presentable.

Personally I don't like the Code Geass DVD's, they do not match with the first DVD at all. As you can see below it's white, whereas Vol 2 and 3 are black, but as I said before all DVD titles shown are not the final product, all can change.

On a side note Tsubasa Vol 7 and box was not found Sad. but I'm keeping my eyes open and will continue to search for it. I am also looking into finding Death Note Vol 7, I have found Vol 6 previously. It can be visible below.

Odd about the non-matching Code Geass DVDs. Perhaps reversible covers with one side white and one side black? It'd be kind of appropriate for this series, what with the white/black chess metaphors. Thanks for posing these. :D

Keep in mind that what you are seeing isn't really meant to be seen by you guys for a few months.

The code geass dvds are obviously still in production. So the cover art you find now may not be final. This is definitely the case with v1.

I'm glad Smile I prefer the black ones, and didn't like the fact that there were two different coloured box arts.

Can we get Prince Clovis on a cover?

Seriously though, the black covers look good, only problem is they seem out of place with the red spine. I am sure some type of magic will be employed to make it all work.

I hate double posting (especially triple posting) and I know a lot of other people do too, but it seems no one is noticing the updates, so I kinda have too to get a notice.

Enjoy the picture above of DBZ and the picture of Naruto Collection 9 below, and Bleach Box 3.

Also a random, non-anime related picture of Robot Chicken:

I wish Madman would just hurry up and start fat-packing Bleach! I was never really into fat-packs but hey, saves room and money. Since Madman announced that every box will become a fat-pack eventually, I'll just wait it out until then. Of course I'd be selling off my artbox versions of everything.

Jeez, Naruto collection 9.. I'm REALLY behind Sad

Mmm, I feel Madman should do fat-packs of Bleach as well, now I know that Viz have only released up to episode 81 of Bleach in the US, but it really is a pain for everyone having to buy the DVD's individually when we know that someday it will be fat-packed. Oh well, I will wait till that day, and if it never comes a lot of us will look like fools. Confused

On a side note [See 2 posts above], I'm not saying people have to respond to my posts about new finds, but there will be double posts and triple posts. The reasons for this is so people know when something new is found, if I were just to edit all the time no one would know if anything has changed. Very Happy

Bleach will get the f/p treatment eventually, it's just that MM release the individuals first, otherwise people aggressive go-getter and complain that they can't get their artboxes. I'm content to wait for my fatpack, I'm a patient person (especially since I have no money to buy them anyway... >_< )

Ahah. I kind of have enough money but I'm saving for other things at the moment.

Also, I don't see why MM didn't continue with the Naruto singles. Not that it matters or anything but yeah. If MM will release singles for the ENTIRE bleach series, it will add up to a HUGE amount. Hell, the series hasn't even finished yet, nor has it shown signs of it ending yet. My guess is that MM will cease the singles and convert to fatpacks midway.

well, the lucky star cover looks horrible i'd have to say! i hoped/thought it would be something like the first but of the dance where it zooms in on (forgot her name Sad ) ... her... something like that

with the bleach dvds being 325...

japan does that... example(s): FLCL 6 dvds 6 eps
cosseste 3 dvds 3 eps
death note same amount of eps but 13 dvds
etc.

and naruto fatpacks cuz... the u.s. has more than 30 (maybe 40) volumes...

i love the bleach cover 4 12... Toshiro (or should i say lil' toshi) is so cool :3

whats wrong with double posting... i don't mind it!!!

It was a joke, there really isn't, that said there is only about 180 or so episodes and normally they put 2 maybe 3 episodes per disc
