Wow! I'm excited for this.

I don't suppose this was the huge secret announced at Supanova?

This conveniently comes after I've unloaded my wallet at Supanova... must get more money this week (somehow!)

EDIT: What about V1+box sets? Are they $10 too?

Why is it that all the good sales happen AFTER I just buy something <_<

I only have something like $5 Crying or Very sad

I'll see if I can get some money somewhere and finally pick up the last volume of LotT.

I'm with ya buddy Crying or Very sad

Does this also include the special features discs?

Eg; The Appleseed SE contains the feature disc and the special features disc so is that $20? or 10?

If you read the top of the detailed item list page (when you click the link in the first post) it will tell you all you need to know.

I wonder if it is possible to fill the shopping cart up now and click send on Saturday night? Will the cookie time out before then?

I'm still a little confused about postage costs, I've only ever ordered single dvds from MM at a time, is it $4 per dvd or $4 all up regardless of how much you order?

Its a flat $4. So this means we can get Vol 1 + Box for only $10? Very Happy Time to start collecting Eureka Seven.

*groans* I just had a massively expensive week last week!!

Wait! I have an anime fund! Cash stashed away where I -hopefully- won't spend it otherwise...I'm saved!
Letsee...to anything I decide to get, I'd have to add $7- four for postage and three for a money order...MM accept Aus Post money orders don't they?

That's awesome. I've got a back list of anime that I wanted to get. Just browsing thru the catalogue, I could end up spending a lot money.

My poor bank account...

I don't recommend adding the titles to your shopping cart until the sale starts - otherwise you may not receive the discounted pricing. But, if you're looking for a way to track the titles that you want to buy, I recommend using your wishlist. Just click the "Add to Wishlist" button on the item's page in the catalogue.

The sale will start at 10:00pm AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time) - so that's 9:00pm in states that don't observe daylight saving.

Yes, Madman do fulfill orders for overseas customers. However, shipping costs will vary depending on the destination and the weight of the order. Our $4.00 flat-rate shipping fee doesn't apply for orders outside Australia.

V1 and Boxes will also be $10.00, although only for items that we have in stock. (Due to the manufacturing process, we won't be able to take back orders for these particular items).

Thanks for the info, Codeine.

When i first saw this sale i put the title of the thread as 'Madman $10 per disc for 10 hours'. I was too excited to realise that it was really 12 hours from 10pm-10am. I then edited the title to say 12 hours.

Now i see that it has just been changed to 10pm-8am so now i have to edit it back to how it was in the first place lol.

Anyway, there is now fine print which says that a limit of two copies of the same title per customer applies.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but for this sale, is stock allocated to the customer when the order is made or when payment is received?
I know normally it's when payment is received so does that mean people with credit cards have an advantage over those who don't?

Woot woot! This is awesome, especially for an anime noob like me Wink and I'm currently loaded with $$, so I'm all set for Saturday!!

So basically, whether you actually put the individual DVDs or the boxset into your shopping cart, you're paying $10 a disc yeah? And Codeine has confirmed that V1 + Collector's Boxes will be $10 as well so long as there's stock, yes? Does that mean we can get backorders @ $10 for individual discs that go out of stock as well?

EDIT: forget I said anything about backorders. Guess it helps to read the fine print, duh!

So how do I know which ones are in stock? I can't seem to find any indications on the product page to say that the item is in stock.

Questions that I posted in the news thread, asking here too for maximum exposure (minus the one that has been answered in this thread):

Quote:
[..]

And is there a limit to order size? Keeping in mind that I would only be ordering one copy of any given thing, I'm already aware of the maximum two copies of one item and that won't be a problem. And, not that I will be, if someone orders 100 DVDs, are you seriously going to only charge $4 shipping?

And finally, how can one tell if an item is in stock or not, or is the point of this sale to take a chance on it?

I'm asking these questions because I'm trying to work out the limits of what can and cannot be done, I wouldn't want to run into problems or operate in a grey area that has not been considered, it would make problems for all which is something I am keen to avoid!

I'd also like to know how the stock will be allocated for orders, what happens if we make the order and to us at the time it looks fine, and then when we're charged it turns out we missed out? This question includes elements of the last question in my quote, but also of the payment question Bluesilverdragon asked, about whether the stock is allocated when payment is received or when the order is placed.

This question includes elements of the last question in my quote, but also of the payment question Bluesilverdragon asked, about whether the stock is allocated when payment is received or when the order is placed.

What he said, curious for answers Smile

Also the concern with the 'in stock' and 'will we get what we ordered?' is for example for a series that does not have a 'complete collection' yet, if we put say Vol 1 + box and then the other 5 volumes and it turns out we only get 3 of the 6 discs we'll end up paying normal price down the track to complete the collection rendering it pointless to take part in the sale . . . . that's a what if scenario though, I doubt it would happen but it's something I'll be concerned about when I put in my order.
