Post here if you feel down, sick or hung-over. I will pat you on the back in return and say "there there... there there..."

As for me, I feel like a punching bag right now - nausea, headache and my wisdom tooth is killing me as well. Despite having a nausea, I feel hungry and and have an appetite. No idea what's going on with me right now. It's a weird combination.

*sips on apple juice like a weakling child*

(Maybe I'm pregnant! Shocked )

Pat me on teh head, please.

I'm lactose intolerant (for the confused ones, this means I'm allergic to dairy). And everyday (or every second day) somebody shoves some dairy product in my face, namely chocolate, and offers me some. So I splode at them...
It's not that I'm desperate for chocolate (I honestly couldn't care less about chocolate these days) but its teh fact that my friends always forget I'm lactose intolerant....

I had a random IMVU convo where some random came in, kissed me, then left.

Now every 5 minutes I'm getting a convo invite from numerous random 14yo girls... This makes me depressed for some reason.

You should start cutting yourself for using IMVU in the first place.

Well, that's odd. The teacher supposed to be supervising should've stepped in - he/she needs a disciplinary action too.

End of the day, had PE in the last period. I thought "stuff changing back into my long pants and long-sleeved shirt (and tie) just to walk home on a 35 degree day, I'll just walk home in my PE shorts and T-shirt". Apparently my school's uniform policy includes that students must be in full uniform when travelling to and from school. Teacher stopped me, informed me of that, and spent about half an hour asking over and over if I'm really sure I want to walk home "out of uniform", finishing with "if you insist on walking home in your PE gear, you'll be suspended".

This is just one of the issues I had with their uniform policy, but it remains the dumbest aspect of it I'd witnessed first hand.

Sloppy Sailor wrote:

Interestingly enough, that's the exact same reason my school gave for having that part of the uniform policy.

It's ok. Tachi uses a script.

Code:
user = get_user(check_new_post());

while (user != NULL)
   {
   user.back = tachikoma.do("pat");
   user.grief = tachikoma.say("there, there... there, there...");

   user = get_user(check_new_post());

It's a teaching internship. I work for fourteen weeks full time with no pay. And that's not taking into account that I get home and spend all my evenings and weekends writing lesson plans and a load of other crap that no teacher ever does. And I can't even work part time so I'm flat broke.

Our school is like that too.

It's fairly crazy when they're forcing students to get changed between classes for PE and stuff...

Still, they used to be worse - girls were forced to take off black or other dark coloured bras and stuff.

bugger that for a joke, if you had to wear that kind of uniform up here, you'd be swimming in your own sweat in summer all day.

*throws everyone sympathy*

This thread makes me feel a lot better about my own problems. Especially Dante's 50+ hour week and Isk8er's 35+ hour teaching sux0r.

Dante, I hope that you don't have to pull another week like that again. Thats a bit intense, and must really kill the motivation to get out of bed in the morning.

Isk8er, I just hope that it gets better. I don't know how it can but maybe something really great will come out of this. If it makes you feel better, there were quite a few student teachers at my school who ended up being hired to work at the school as a teacher after they finished their internship.

Sloppy Sailor, that just sounds like bad luck right there. How did they catch you?

HimuraBattousai, your school sounds messed up. Though let me guess you went to a private school. I noticed with my one year at a private school how strict the uniform policy compared to a public school.

Last week, my wisdom teeth decided to make another futile attempt to come through. This made my gums swollen and every time I ate anything I would bite my gum where the wisdoms were and it would kill my mouth. It made eating a chore.

don't worry about the school. Private schools are obsesed with keeping a good name. My school was in a lot of **** last year because of a certain dvd that was being sold in the area. A number of kids with no involvement got suspended. This is how far schools go to keep there good name.

My ears are ringing.

I am sunburnt.

On the upside, I did get to stand right next to some very expensive cars as they drove very fast around a lake.

Maybe I brought this upon myself.

(waits for inpending sympathy)

other than that TAFE work is getting harder, got a 50 page document to make and only got two weeks to do it (i do a networking diploma by the way which is considered a uni course) and that is about it

i think i came close again this week. around the 47 hour mark. Confused and those wisdom teeth can be a real aggressive go-getter too, hurts at the most inconvenient of times.
