I've just finished watching this title, to find that most of the series is in japanese with the last 3-5 episodes in english, the question i have, is where is the last 3-5 episodes in japanese and where is the remaining english dialogue for the rest of the series..

For there to be english speech on the last 3-5 episodes there should be another 38-39 episodes in english and another 3-5 episodes in japanese...

So where's the missing audio tracks.

not sure why there is a botched release of this series, I hope Victory doesn't fall into this category aswell as I haven't watched that yet

English is only on a few episodes in English.

For the Japanese in the last disc just press the language button!

it's locked to english where the rest of the series is locked to japanese...

It seems odd that only the last 3-5 episodes were dubbed in english sly, I think you need to source who ever dubbed the last 3-5 episodes as I would who ever did it most likely dubbed the remaining episode...

listening to the english audio makes me believe that there is a full english track out there, as who ever did the voice over for soundtrack sounded like a corn balled version of the original 80's g1 soundtrack...

I think there is a high possibility either the crew who did the movie or the original g1 tv series most likely dubbed this series...

it seems stupid for someone to create a english dub of the last 3-5 episodes of the series don't you think..

You are quite wrong on the account of the dub there.
The dub was done by the same group who dubbed Headmasters and Victory also for use in Thailand known as Star TV.
And it is no where near as good as the G1 origional cast.
How you can compare them I do not know.

What I said in my last statement was going from what i heard from what little there was of the english track it sounded same or similar to the originalg1 sound track I only assumed the cast from the movie or the tv series might of had something to do with it that's all..

I haven't heard the full english sound track for this series I was going on assumptions that's all from what I previously heard on the last 3-5 episodes on the last disc which doesn't have a selectable soundtrack between japanese and english in general play or bonus option for soundtrack it seems to be hardcoded..

It's almost like a master of both audio tracks for this series wasn't sent to Madman, it's like if someone has stripped away an audio track.

anyone that can copy a dvd knows what i'm talking about..
i'm not referring to pirating services either..

Hey I can listen to both tracks you've just got to change the audio settings if not then something is wrong with your copy or your DVD player.

hey mad do you have dual audio throughout this entire series???

bad batch i'm guessing.

the only options i got is english sub nothing on dub..

700 + dual audio anime dvd's have passed through this dvd player so dvd player shouldn't be an issue, i was surprised to hear english to begin with as the slick only states Japanese dub with english subs..

this got me puzzled so i posted in prod & tech to see what the story was...

On the select episodes were you can change it to english, I can do that.
Otherwise all other episodes are Japanese with subtitles.
