I recently ordered Neon Genesis Evangelion from a GameTraders store in Adelaide, only to find when it arrived today the plastic pieces holding the DVD in place were broken. What do I do, can Madman replace my broken cases?

Disks 1 and 4 were affected, I found them loose in their cases. The boxset (the big boxset edition) was sealed in plastic, leading me to believe this is a problem that occurred when the disks were first put in the case. Disk 4 also has some minor damage.

Pictures for reference:

Disks 1 and 4 are affected, I had to place the DVDs back in the holder to stop more damage. Sitting the cases upright causes the disks to fall out again. As you can see, the damage is in the same place on both cases. Could this be the fault of the packers, or could this have happened in transit?

Close-up of the damage. Either these were really weak cases or someone was a little rough when the disks were originally put in the case Confused

Minor disk damage in the top left of the disk.

Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately for me, the store is located 600km away and postage for that would cost $7.70...

yeah i had that problem just recently with my Full Metal Panic collection i bought from JB.

The DVD release button was snapped. Shocked .

Although i immediately bought a new plastic DVD case to replace it, so all is good.

I also (this month) bought the Angelic Layer boxset and noticed that theres a few marks on disc 5. I noticed this when i opened the disc out of the sealed packaging. At first i was annoyed and planned to return the set to JBHiFi although the boxset was the only one instock and madman is also soldout and i couldn't be bothered waiting for a order replacement so i guess i have to deal with it.
