I wasn't sure whether I should buy Code Geass or whether I would like it.
I decided to take a gamble so I took the plunge and bought Volume 1 + the artbox.
Man, I'm glad I did.
Thanks Madman for bringing a great series so far Down Under.

I think both the japanese version and english version were very well done. I enjoyed both greatly.

I agree, I hadn't purchased an anime in a while except Black Lagoon and I thought I'd try Code Geass for something new. Great anime. Looking forward to volume 2.

I've enjoyed vol 1 as well. I'm not 100% sold on the english dub cast though. Some of the roles, such as Lelouch, Karen, CC and Suzaku are done quite well. Others... <shuders at the sound of Nunnally and Shirley>

Still, it's good to be watching it in higher quality video at long last. Very Happy

Still wondering about whether or not to invest in Geass, or wait for the collection to come out...

Well I just finished watching Volume 1 a little while ago and it was as good as I expected (Well, it's as good as all the people who watched it and told me about it anyway.)

I agree with the people here. I thought I wouldn't like it, seeing as i really dislike mecha, but this was really good. I went out and grabbed volume 2 straight after i watched volume 1. can't wait to get more.
