Give it about +6 months, it depends on the quantity of the individual volumes and how quick they go, it may skip a Box set and go straight to Fatpack. I am not too certain with these new DVD packaging Madman implemented a while back. But I still wouldn't expect it anytime too soon.

mike:
The Death Note complete collection will be released in November. This is the box set as this was one of the series that was started before the marketing change. Fatpack i would imagine around May-June next year.

As for the Re-Light movie the first one will also be released in November.

There is no picture of the cover art on the B2B website so if there are not enough components left for a boxset release it will go to a fatpack. A couple of series that started before the marketing change didn't get boxset releases because there weren't enough components to make them up (eg: Le Chevalier D'eon & Mushishi). We'll have to wait for someone from Madman to confirm which it will be in this case.

Sorry, the B2B website is Madman's business to business site, if you scroll up to the top of this page there is a green logo saying "looking for the AV Channel", it's a good site to check out as it has the upcoming releases about a month ahead of when they appear on the regular Madman site.
The RRP for Death Note Complete Collection is going to be: $129.95
Here's the link to it on the B2B site anyway:

For a 37 ep series across 9 DVDs that's not really that expensive by our usual standards. You're also getting a deluxe package here.

Heck yes it is good price, you're only paying $13.33 per disc, as opposed to me who paid $279.55 for all 9 discs and paying for the box art (not including the Special editions which I got them all, so that adds another $80).

I did the same although didn't have to spend quite as much as that, if you shop around though when it comes out in November you can get it under that price too remember.
