Ha? My impression is the dub is partly why anime DVDs are expensive, you need to pay actors and a recording studio to produce one. Subtitling is something Madman are able do themselves, and considering fans are able to produce subtitles for what I'm assuming to be almost nothing, it must be much cheaper then licensing a dub.

The fixed costs sink you, for runs less than a thousand.

Most of the costs of media distribution are fixed, and while lots of people are willing to spend more money on stuff that's had more work put into it... each person's generally only willing to spend about a thousandth of the cost of the work. Empirical. Doesn't matter what the work is, the ratio stays about the same: guess people have a fair idea what stuff costs, even if only subconscious.

Yeah, I guess you're right. Sorry, just thought it was an idea that all. Personally, if MM doesn't release it I'll just get it some where else haha...But, I'm still supporting the Aussie market if it is released here.
