Hi all,

The old thread had an annoying bug where the database thought there were more posts in the thread than there really were.

This is what led to that annoying "No posts exist for this topic" screen you would sometimes see when entering the thread.

I've locked the old thread and moved it to the archive so it's preserved for all time.

Now, use this new thread!

Hooray! A highlight thread that won't bug out on us...

Until the forum collapses and they have to rollback to a previous backup.

More delightful time-wasting.

Reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animelo and following the links to all the artists and anime referenced.

Finally finishing Portal 2 ^_^

Also, hooray for new highlights thread. Should the dodgy thread have the same treatment, so everything can start a fresh? It's always nice to see more posts in the highlight thread than the dodgy thread after all ^_^

Well, I became the Vice President my Uni's Anime Club. As far as I know, I have no duties as of yet.

Also, I think I did well on my exam today.

I'm readin a Wing Commander FAQ, and it's talking about the WC3 demo. It says if you want to download the demo,

Quote:
be prepared for a bit of a wait, as the complete demo is approximately 25 megabytes in size.

Whoa, gotta watch my quota! Laughing

EDIT - the FAQ's from 1995, to clarify.

Welcome back Sleepy. I take it that you won't be heading up to Sydney for Supanova with Martzy this weekend?

I've had a pretty big highlight this week. I drove my motorbike up north along the Hume to visit KBZ and minions, and KBZ and I have been rocketing around the countryside all week. Great fun, as we've had nice weather all week.

We did something for Worldwide Knit in Public Day at our local knitting and yarn shop. We had a photoshoot for the local paper, saw some rather nice (but expensive) specialty yarns, and I managed to Rickroll the entire shop of 20 or so people at one point. Razz

Just got finished up with cleaning up my folder setup on my drives. They were all over the place, so I made them a little easier to navigate.

Yes, that was today's highlight.

No, I won't... apart from having had enough of planes for the moment, poor Martzy has to put up with me enough as it is already, he probably deserves a break! Laughing

Seriously though, I'm pretty bummed as I won't be in the country for Manifest either as I'm heading to China mid August... not that I'm complaining all that much. Wink

Back from Supanova, was good fun, spent a heap, although the first 2 things I bought were a Master Sword and Hylian shield so I spent all day trying to maneuver through the crowd dragging 2 large cardboard boxes with me.

Met up with some friends, had a good time, burnt a hole in my wallet. Definition of a good day.
