Saw the movie on Thursday and it was awesome! Just wondering whether Eastern Eye plans to acquire it, and if there's any news of a third movie in the works at all.

We tried to get the DVD rights for it and was not successful... Sad

I think Ip Man 3 is no longer happening. Well at least Donnie Yen himself has said he won't do a third film.

I'm also sad to hear there won't be a third one.

I watched IP Man 2 today and thought it was every bit as good as the first; they were both terrific stories. Especially since I knew nothing about Bruce Lee's Master until I watched these films.

Gotta be two of the best kung fu films I've ever watched.

Well there is an Ip Man Prequel and it's coming out soon. No Donnie Yen but stars Dennis To as a young Ip Man. He played Sammo's top student in Ip Man 2.

And there's a third film called The Grandmaster directed by Wong Kar Wai and starring Tony Leung. I'm excited about that one too.
