Both of mine has well, as well as some other recent changes done during the sale, like wishlist removal. I'm guessing they're still in the process of fixing the site up and they should appear in the order section sometime soon.

As soon as I noticed my order had too disappeared I hoped on here straight away to see if there was a buzz. Thank god I am not the only one. It will clearly be fixed soon....I hope.


EDIT: Wait...What? All our posts have gone too. This is clearly a backed up version of Madman we are running. Madgate 2.0 clearly was hell for Madman.

You got that right!

I checked online last night and saw that all the recent posts on the Madboards had disappeared.

On the Fanzone, the actual Fanzone page wouldn't load up properly. Today a lot of the recently uploaded photos had also disappeared. My Madman profile page had also reverted back to what it was a week or two ago.

So if they are running on a back up server at the moment, I hope they can recover everything that has now disappeared again.

Unfortunately, no. Their database was cooked so thoroughly, that anyone who made an order and didn't pay for it immediately by credit card or PayPal, their order has vanished into thin air.

Yeah, kinda shocked that daily backups aren't happening, thought that would be given for an online business.

Yeah I'm glad I use my debit card all the time, and not bpay. For the first time I was considering using Bpay cause my pay came in a few hours after the sale, but got a temporary loan instead, phew.

I paid by BPAY, but it doesn't seem like that big of a hassle for me, I mean my order may delayed a little, but I am not fussed. I am just glad there is a way I get my order back, unlike those who never received a confirmation email.

EDIT: It was actually no hassle at all, I sent my reply to the Madman team, and my order has already been manually processed and will be shipped ASAP.

At least Madman are there to help us. As per always Madman remains loyal to us fans.

Luckily for me, it was a while ago that I made my last order. So even though it included pre-order items, it should still be on the system.

Besides, all that's left to come of that order is Naruto Shippuden Coll. 4.

So if it doesn't show up in November, then I'll complain. Razz

Guess there's nothing we can do about the lost posts on here, or the lost pictures on the Fanzone. Just have to reload the pics I suppose, luckily it was only my latest Anime pic that got wiped; everything else is pretty normal (1 comment got zapped from my Manga pic, no biggie.)

Hmm, I sent my mails off a few hours ago, hoping for a response sometime tomorrow. I paid via BPAY and payment was sent yesterday. I won't be too bothered if my orders are indeed cancelled as I didn't pick up too much anyway, and I can always grab them again at the next sale.

Not quite. Those who didn't pay by yesterday won't be getting their orders. Those who paid straight away via credit card or something else will be getting their order.

i paid by credit card, got a confirmation, but it was paid for today.
the blog says if it was paid for before 10am yesterday, it will be fine, should i reply to the confirmation email to be sure?

in their blog they say this

1. If you placed an order between the 6th and 11th using a credit card or via Paypal and had made payment prior to 10am yesterday, your order will go through automatically and will be processed without hassle.


which means if you paid using a credit card or by using Paypal then your order did go through

As true with BPAY. If you have paid and got the confirmation email, reply to it. Unless you deleted it, then your screwed as they have no way of tracing what you ordered.

Just a question Sly, I'm looking to pre order some titles from November (I like to keep sale orders seperate) so if I do that today or the next day will they be processed and stored on the system OK? or should I wait a couple of days?

Hope that's the case for everyone, as I just checked my Credit Card statement online; the Madman payment is still listed as Pending. Hope that is only because it hasn't been shipped yet, so the charge hasn't transferred across to the main section yet.

i got a reply this morning about my order and they said it was shipped yesterday so thats means it was sent tuesday so im looking at it arrive either tomorrow (thursday) or friday at the laetest cause i usually get them by thursday or friday when i order on a sunday,

Yeah Madman is situated in Melbourne so its only natural for you folks to get it first, I'm Sydney based so mine will probably be here tomorrow. However I have had the occasional parcel arrive Wednesday or Friday. I do most of my ordering on Sundays anyways so basing it off that.

I am expecting my two orders to arrive tomorrow, Sydney-sider too. Shame I will be going away Friday morning and won't see them until Sunday night. Oh well.
