This thread is for player character sheets. This first post will describe the meanings of some of the stats, then the sheets will be posted (one post per character) below.

I encourage you to ask questions if things are in any way unclear. (Mods, I apologise for the incoming multi-posting, but the character data here needs a reference spot Razz)

HP: Your health. It cannot go above its maximum.
If your current HP hits 0, you are unconscious. If it reaches -1, you are dying. If you are unconscious or dying, you are helpless (cannot act, and have a high chance of death if an enemy gets into melee range)

If you are dying, you make saving rolls each round (more on that later) to stabilise. If you fail enough of these, you die. If your health reaches a negative number equal to half of your Constitution, you die.
(if your CON is 10, and you reach -5 HP, you're dead)


Nonlethal damage: This counts up, unlike HP. If it matches your maximum HP, you are unconscious.

Speed: How far you can move in a turn. Most creatures can move 30 feet. Note that a square on the map typically represents 5 feet.

Initiative: Affects the order of turns in combat. When combat begins, a D20 is rolled, and your initiative is added to this. Then turns take place in order from highest to lowest.

Modifiers: These are determined by the base stats you selected, and affect many things.

AC: Armour class. The higher this is, the tougher it is to damage you with melee or ranged attacks.

Touch AC: Certain types of attacks only need to touch you to have its effect (such as certain spells). This is essentially your regular AC, without bonuses due to wearing armour.

Saving Throws:
Certain negative effects allow a chance to resist (or reduce) their effects, by being particularly strong, or by dodging, etc. When this is possible, a save throw will be made automatically (by me). These vary between character due to class type and stats.

Fortitude Save: Usually for effects that pure constitution can withhold, such as death conditions, poison and disease, etc.
Reflex Save: Dodge attempts on things like spells, unexpected effects, etc.
Will Save: Typically for resisting mind-altering spells, represents your chance at resisting effects based on sheer determination.

Base Attack Bonus: Added to other stats when you make a melee or ranged attack. A high number here is good, though this varies by class type.

Spell Resistance: chance to reduce damage dealt to you by magic

CMB: Combat Maneuver Bonus, for when you make an action such as tacking, rushing, tripping.
CMD: Combat Maneuver Defence, for when someone makes such an action on you - your chance at resisting it.

Skills - more on that in the other thread and on the PFSRD site.

Languages: self-explanatory, but can be important
Feats - more on that in the other thread and on the PFSRD site

Character Specific:
Will depend on character (obviously). Will cover things like spell allowances, spells known, domains, etc.

Inventory:
What you are carrying. Will include stats for weaponry and armour if applicable.

Note that we are simplifying the game in certain regards - the very first simplification is WEIGHT ALLOWANCE. I will not impose a weight allowance on the proviso that it seems reasonable that your character can carry what is listed - both in terms of weight and sheer number of items.
