I was joking. You said they were for bumming around the house and my comment implied that they're suitable for much more than that. In other words, I've been known to almost live in my trackies, which apparently I need to change if I ever want to attract a woman. Razz

In winter, I can wear wet-weather riding clothes over my trackies, and nobody's ever the wiser at Safeway.

On topic, though, I fully intend to buy a new computer. This little b*tch here is giving me issues, and I'm over it, given that it's probably the f*cking mainboard to blame. New mainboard, moving up to a 1337-pin socket means new processor, RAM and PSU too, and I may as well replace the graphics card too. Goodbye, $1k.

$260 for that bad boy, from Minotaur in Melbourne. I'd seen it online a bunch, but after seeing the detail up close irl, in a total SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY moment I had to have it.

Planning to pick up an Iron Man to go along side him in the near future. Just gotta choose between the MkIV or MkVI when the time comes... And I'm definitely to have to pick up the MkII figure when it's released later in the year.

Buying this War Machine has become the start of a stupidly expensive collection...

So, my Windows 7 Ultimate showed up. $25 aggressive go-getters!

I'd used 7 on my brother computer previously but when he stole his computer back I was forced back to Vista. Just small things annoyed me so I thought I'd upgrade. Y'know, until I get my laptop. Razz

The part where it becomes a stupidly expensive hobby is pretty much like collecting warhammer models.

Picked up a shirt for $10 at JayJay's, it's a skeleton in a military uniform, it's pretty awesome.

Stopped in coles today and bought a 4 pack of AAA bateries and a box of BBQ Shapes.

I needed the batteries after my Wireless Keyboard and mouse started to dies on my last night midway through a convo on facebook. Stated to get really annoying.

Picked up a new Sony Bravia TV after our old Samsung couldn't decide if it wanted to be turned on or off.

This TV has the internet on it, which is pretty spectacular. Especially because part of the deal means it has built-in iView access.

You can even tweet from it.

My Blu-Ray player is the same (it has a built-in wireless modem).

Ah, to be able to watch iView on a TV (with Internode, which lists ABC iView as a cap-free site), is great.

Bought my mum a $100 myers gift card today, it's her birthday this week. She's hard to buy stuff for, so i figure she can just pick something out that she likes.

So, grabbed a 320GB Western Digital HDD for $33 minus my staff discount. Smile Didn't really need it but wasn't about to pass it up at that price.

Thought I could maybe set something up to backup my other external HDD and stuff when I plugged the new one in but I can't seem to find a way to do that. Not that it matters as I can't have them both plugged in at the same time as far as I can tell - even with my external powered USB hub.

Been stockpiling a few things out back too - a few games for about $10 (Pikmin 2, Bad Company etc) as well as a PS2 for $50 and have also set aside a lovely Sony camera (14.1 megapixels, Carl Zeiss lens) that is on sale for $99.

Apparently suits are going real cheap and I can get an extra 50% off - there are some that have been marked down from $500 to about $150 so another %50 off that. Might get one. Very Happy

Bought Black Swan on Blu Ray. Watching now. If anyone buying this decides to use a ps3 and it doesn't work delete the data for it in BD Utility. Wasted a good 10 minutes of my life figuring that one out.

Bought some more Hoyt's brand Chili

25g packet = $1.50
100g jar = $4.05

Someone out there must suck at Mathematics bad enough to buy the 25g packets, right?

It's a marketing scheme so that people buy the bigger and more expensive stuff over the smaller version.

More or less.

I really liked it but didn't get to see it in cinemas, because nobody wanted to see it with me :/
Though I plan to buy the BD later this year when I'm not saving up for SMASH : D
