|
|
I've been having a problem watching anything on the screening room.
it will play everything before the show, the madman logo and the advertisements, then it buffers for a bit, and goes back to the title.
I was able to watch three episodes of the chuu show and the first episode of steins gate before it happened.
Is there an FAQ for screening room difficulties? I assume its a problem on my end, because i haven't seen any other posts about it on these forums. |

It's happened to me recently. Have you tried closing your browser? Restarting your computer? In the end, it ended up working for me after one of those. You should try everything possible on your end before assuming a problem on the internet. _________________ Nullus Anxietas |

As a fun aside, about a week ago, I tried to watch an episode on the screening room, and the geolock refused me entry.
I eventually figured out that it was Bigpond's fault, as they were doing mainenance at the time, and it must have affected my IP address. Thankfully, when they were back up to speed, I was able to watch the episode.
Kinda annoying that Bigpond seem to be doing this every second day (at least it seems like that). I can still use the internet, just can't use member services, like checking my usage. On the plus side, any internet usage during these times don't count towards the monthly limit. _________________ Nullus Anxietas |

I've tried closing the browser, restarting the browser, resetting the browser, using different browsers, updating flash player, updating the video card, looked for add-ons, did a few google searches, probably did some other stuff i don't remember right now, i have tried a lot of things.
now i'm trying the forums for anything i might have missed.
kyoujin, i hadn't looked at trailers, i tried them and they worked for me. i then tried the screening room, and now they work. i'm pretty sure that doesn't help you, but more information about a problem is always helpful on some level. |

wasn't a problem on my end but on madman's part (because other people had similar problems), its fixed now anyway. _________________ http://myanimelist.net/profile/Tr1ckR |

We had some CDN server issues last week. Being a long weekend (extended, since most ppl took Monday off here in Melbourne), it took a bit longer to get things back online.
We recommend you turn off proxy servers or ad blocks as well just incase if it doesn't work _________________ Watch FREE Anime Episodes

New problem with the screening room. All the episodes except for the first two episodes of Slayers and Chobits have dissapeared, including all the ongoing series. _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

I thought it was just the full episode RSS feed. But yeah, the links to new episodes in the SR are dead ends. _________________ Nullus Anxietas |

New issue has cropped up. Kill La Kill has vanished from the screening room entirely. _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

If you check Madman's facebook page, it has a post about them being forced to remove the series entirely. Someone breached their system and pinched the latest episode before it aired in Japan apparently. |

Yeah. I found out after I posted that.
And I don't use Facebook. It is evil. _________________ I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

That can pretty much apply to anything Madman have announced for a good long while. If you're not a Facebook fan (specifically, con going, preferably cosplaying), they don't care. _________________ Give in to the demon inside. It will set you free...
