I've noticed that series is out here, but I have no idea about it. I've seen images and think that it's another harem series, but is it any good.

I think that I'll be doing a bunch of these new threads over the coming weeks.

It's not out here yet, in fact it's been taken of the website. I liked it myself, although the second half of the anime is a fair bit better than than first half. The source material is solid though the anime is one of those series that ends just when it starts getting good so you begs for you to pick up the source material.

I have a few favourite songs from Tokyo Ravens:

X-encounter / Maon Kurosaki (Tokyo Ravens OP)

Red Monochrome / Lisa Komine (both English and Japanese versions).

Unfortunately I have yet to hear them performed live (unless Lisa Komine sang Red Monochrome at her live).

Thanks for that. I take it that the source material isn't out in english yet?.

The US release had a mini write-up in ANN's Shelf Life. The reviewer gave it a Rental rating, meaning somewhere between Shelf Worthy and Perishable.

I saw in the latest Otaku USA that it has a story on it, but I haven't read it yet. I think I might end up waiting to see if season 2 gets done, as all I'm reading is that it's season 1 being out. Sort of hints that a second season will be getting done.

It hasn't been licensed if that's what you mean, although there are other ways to access translated versions.

I got the R1 release and was happy with how it played out. Would like to see a sequel done to it, but the series was quite entertaining. I'll have to sit down and rewatch it sometime.
